A study of some certain languages
令X*為有限字母集X 所生成的自由域(free monoid )。X*集合裡面的元素稱為字而
X*集合的子休稱為言語。令X =X* \{1} ,其中1是空字。
一個非空言語A X ,若A AX =Φ,則A 是一個前序碼(prefix code )。若有一個
言語L X 而且存在一個X L 使得{x ,y }是一個前序碼對於每個y L ,則L 稱為一
個左特異言語(left singular language)。若 L 是有限個類別(f-inite index)
則稱L 為正規的(regular )。P 是單一的(identity),則稱L 為分離的(disju-
nc tive)。
本論文包含三個主題。第一部分,我們將左特異言語族分解成一些子半群的聯集。
第二部分,我們討論當一個言語A 為前序碼時,A 是正規的若且唯若P (A ),即所
有A 的字的字首,是正規的。另外,我們也討論E (A ),即所有A 的字的子字,的
性質。最後,我們討論當A 為前序碼時,A 是分離的若且唯若P (A ),是分離的。
第三部分,我們討論一種新的言語稱為半數碼(semicode)。我們發現半數碼實際上
放松數碼的定義。除此之外,我們也討論半數碼的代數性質
