High-precision calculations of In I and Sn II atomic properties
We use all-order relativistic many-body perturbation theory to study 5s^2 nl
configurations of In I and Sn II. Energies, E1-amplitudes, and hyperfine
constants are calculated using all-order method, which accounts for single and
double excitations of the Dirac-Fock wave functions.Comment: 10 pages, accepted to PRA; v2: Introduction changed, references adde

The aim of this research to determinate the effect of addition of kayambang (Salvinia molesta) in laying hens feed on relative percentage of egg unsaturated fatty acids (linolenic fatty acid, linoleic and oleic). This research used a completely randomized design (CRD) consist of 4 treatments and 3 replications. The treatment were added kayambang in laying hens feed with level 0%, 6%, 12% and 18%. Observed parameters were fat consumption, relative percentage of linolenic fatty acid, linoleic and oleic. Result showed the effect of addition of kayambang until 18% in feed wasn't significally different (P>0.05) on fat consumption and relative percentage of linolenic fatty acid. In contrary, the effect of addition of kayambang until 18% in feed showed significally different (P>0.01) on relative percentage of linoleic and oleic fatty acid. In conclusion, addition of kayambang (Salvinia molesta) to Lohmann Brown females laying hens diet decrease of fat consumption and also relative percentage of unsaturated fatty acids (linolenic fatty acid, linoleic and oleic)
Peran Agency Cost Reduction dalam Memediasi Hubungan antara Corporate Social Responsibility dengan Nilai Perusahaan
The purpose of this study was to analyzed the effect of CSR on firm value. Firm value proxy with Tobin's Q. This research was taken because there are still differences between the researchs with each other. This research adding agency cost reduction as mediating variable. This research was not use stakeholder theory, but was applicated agency theory, signaling theory, and legitimacy theory. This study use WarpPLS 5.0. This study uses 63 samples of manufacture firms that listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2013 to 2015. The sampling method used for this study is purposive sampling. Type of the data used is secondary data. The result of the test is that CSR positive influence to the firm value. Based on the results of the analysis found that the agency cost reduction is partial mediation between the relationship of CSR on firm value. Institutional ownership can't moderate CSR on ACR
THE INFLUENCES OF JOB PERFORMANCE, WORK-LIFE BALANCE AND ORGANIZATIONAL JUSTICE ON EMPLOYEES’ CAREER SATISFACTION
Purpose of study: This study is conducted to identify the relationships between job performance, work-life balance and organizational justice towards employee's career satisfaction from one of the manufacturing companies in the north of Malaysia.
Methodology: The study is done by utilizing a random sample of 240 employees in the company. Type of investigation is a correlation study and it is cross-sectional on time horizon. The unit of analysis is an individual level; therefore, all employees in the company have chances to serve as the participants in this study. Data has been analysed from 148 respondents.
Results: Results show significant and positive relationships between job performance, work-life balance and organizational justice towards employees' career satisfaction. Organizational justice is the most significant factor in career satisfaction in this study (β=.83, p=.00). Other factors such as job performance (β=.71, p=.00), and work-life balance (β=.71, p=.00) also positively correlated with employees’ career satisfaction.
Implications/Applications: These significant results imply that managers should provide good elements of justice in the company to raise the level of their employee's career satisfaction. At the same time, the employees should maintain a higher level of job performance as well as to manage the good working life balance in them
Assessment the Ameliorative Effect of Pomegranate and Rutin on Chlorpyrifos-ethyl-Induced Oxidative Stress in Rats
Abstract: Oxidative stress is one of the possible mechanisms resulted from organophosphate toxicity. Therefore, the aim of this study is to evaluate the in vivo effects of chlorpyrifos-ethyl (CPF; 16.4 mg / kg / day body weight), on the serum and tissues antioxidant system of male Sprague Dawily rat and the efficacy of pomegranate peel extract (P; 500 mg/ kg/ day body weight) and rutin (R; 50 mg/ kg/ day body weight) as polyphenols to antagonize this response. The parameters were cholinesterase (ChE), acid phosphatase (ACP) and protein thiol (PrTh) in serum. Levels of malondialdehyde (MDA) as a marker of lipid peroxidation (LPO), reduced glutathione (GSH), glutathione-S-transferase (GST) and catalase (CAT) were estimated in liver, brain and kidney tissues. In addition, the activities of lysosomal enzymes (acid phosphatase, cathepsin D and RNase) in the liver were measured as early apoptosis marker. Administration of CPF orally by gavage for two weeks induced a significant increase in serum ACP activity, LPO levels and liver lysosomal enzymes. Associated inhibitions in serum ChE activity and PrTh level were detected to CPF exposure. Also, results showed significant decreases in GSH content, GST and CAT activities in liver, brain and kidney. Supplementation with P or R to treated animals was significantly (P< 0.01) attenuated the toxicity and oxidative stress evoked by CPF
The possible protective effect of L-arginine against 5-fluorouracil-induced nephrotoxicity in male albino rats
5-fluorouracil (5-FU) is a potent antineoplastic agent used for the treatment of various malignancies. The L-arginine nitric oxide (NO) pathway involved in the pathogenesis of chemotherapy induced kidney damage. This work investigated the beneficial mechanism of L-arginine supplementation in 5-FU induced nephropathy. Eighty male Wistar rats were divided into four equal groups: control group; L-arginine group (378 mg/rat/day for 4 weeks); 5-FU group (189 mg/rat/week for 4 weeks) and L-arginine for 1 week before and 4 weeks concomitant with 5-FU group. At the end of experiment, the kidney functions were assessed and kidneys specimens were processed for paraffin sections and stained with haematoxylin and eosin (H&E), Masson’s trichome (MT) and periodic acid-Schiff (PAS) stains. Other sections were processed for immunohistochemical demonstration of caspase-3 and inducible NO synthase (iNOS). Image analyser was used to analyse the results morphometrically and statistically. L-arginine administration to 5-FU treated animals elicited significant reduction in serum urea and creatinine levels, urine volume, urinary protein excretion and kidney/body weight ratio in comparison to fluorouracil treated group. L-arginine improved glomeruloscelerosis, degeneration of convoluted tubules and interstitial fibrosis in 5-FU treated animals. L-arginine attenuated effectively some biochemical and histological changes in 5-FU nephrotoxicity
Effect of feeding broiler chicken on soybean oil and palm oil supplemented with some feed additives on the quality characteristics of processed chicken nuggets
The objective of this study was to investigate the effect of feeding broiler chicken on different vegetable oils with feed additives on the quality characteristics of chicken nuggets. A total of 216 one-day-old chicks of (Hubbard) strain were randomly assigned to six dietary treatments as (2Ă—3) factorial designs where two sources of dietary oil contained soybean oil and palm oil with three levels of commercial multi-enzyme feed additives. Treatments were: soybean oil only (T1), soybean oil+ ZAD (T2), soybean oil+ AmPhi-BACT (T3), palm oil only (T4), palm oil + ZAD (T5) and palm oil + AmPhi- BACT (T6). Results showed that chicken nuggetsof T3 group had the higher pH value. No significant differences were found in cooking loss between (T1, T5 andT6) and nuggets of T3and T4. Nugget of T2 group had the higher T.B.A value. No significant effect on shrinkage % of nuggets samples
Porting Decision Tree Algorithms to Multicore using FastFlow
The whole computer hardware industry embraced multicores. For these machines,
the extreme optimisation of sequential algorithms is no longer sufficient to
squeeze the real machine power, which can be only exploited via thread-level
parallelism. Decision tree algorithms exhibit natural concurrency that makes
them suitable to be parallelised. This paper presents an approach for
easy-yet-efficient porting of an implementation of the C4.5 algorithm on
multicores. The parallel porting requires minimal changes to the original
sequential code, and it is able to exploit up to 7X speedup on an Intel
dual-quad core machine.Comment: 18 pages + cove
