The paper considers the presumed mechanisms of the etiology and pathogenesis of a common skin disease, such as atopic dermatitis (AD), from the point of view of psychosomatic theories and models in modern medicine. It analyzes the literature data suggesting that the peptidergic and immune systems are actively involved in the development of key symptoms of the disease. The systems of monoamine neurotransmitters (dopamine, noradrenaline, and serotonin) participating in the development and functioning of all mental processes (emotions, thinking, perception, etc.) were found to also play an important role in the pathogenesis of AD. There are examples of successfully using drugs from the groups of neuroleptics, antidepressants, tranquilizers in AT.Рассматриваются предполагаемые механизмы этиологии и патогенеза такого распространенного кожного заболевания, как атопический дерматит (АтД), с точки зрения психосоматических теорий и моделей в современной медицине. Анализируются данные литературы, свидетельствующие об активном участии пептидергической и иммунной систем в формировании ключевых симптомов заболевания. Выявлена важная роль в патогенезе АтД системы моноаминергических нейротрансмиттеров (дофамина, норадреналина и серотонина), участвующих, помимо этого, в формировании и функционировании всех психических процессов (эмоций, мышления, восприятия и др.). Приводятся примеры успешного применения при АтД препаратов из групп нейролептиков, антидепрессантов, транквилизаторов
