Statistical Properties of the Reflectance and Transmittance of an Amplifying Random Media

Statistical properties of the transmittance ($T$) and reflectance ($R$) of an amplifying layer with one-dimensional disorder are investigated analytically. Whereas the transmittance at typical realizations decreases exponentially with the layer thickness $L$ just as it does in absorbing media, the average $\left\langle T\right\rangle$ and $\left\langle R\right\rangle$\ are shown to be infinite even for finite $L$ due to the contribution of low-probable resonant realizations corresponding to the non-Gaussian tail of the distribution of $\ln T$. Career guidance work improving in educational institution "Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics"

Совершенствование профориентационной работы в университете – основной способ выполнения показателей по экспорту образовательных услуг. Проведен анализ Концепции развития профессиональной ориентации молодежи в Республике Беларусь, определены задачи и принципы профориентации молодежи в современном обществе. Рассмотрены особенности проведения профориентационной работы в учреждении образования «Белорусский государственный университет информатики и радиоэлектроники» и приоритетные направления деятельности по развитию международного сотрудничества и экспорта услуг в области образования. Предложено активнее использовать современные образовательные электронные технологии при организации профориентационной работы, что позволит обеспечить выполнение плана приема в университет и рост контингента иностранных обучающихся, поддерживая достаточно высокие проходные баллы в университет, а следовательно – иметь высокообразованный контингент обучающихся при одновременном выполнении основных экономических показателей развития университета. Vocational guidance improving at the university is the main way to achieve educational services indicators on the export. The Concept of youth vocational guidance development in the Republic of Belarus has been analysed, the tasks and principles of young people vocational guidance in modern society are determined. The features of the vocational guidance work in the educational institution "Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics" and the priorities for action on international cooperation development and education service export are considered. It is proposed to make greater use of modern educational electronic technologies in organizing vocational guidance work to ensure the admission plan fulfillment to the university and increasing of foreign students number, maintaining sufficiently high entering points to the university, and therefore, to have a highly educated contingent of students while achieving main economic targets of the university development
