Dynamics of free radicals processes in rat blood with partially blocked thyroid gland by stable iodine
Free radicals' processes in blood of male rats Wistar, induced by Н2О2 chemiluminescence for single oral ingestion of 131І in organism at 65.9 kBq per animal in conditions of partially blocked thyroid gland with 127I, were studied. The introduction of radioactive iodine, as well as partial blocking of thyroid gland by iodine, do not influence significantly on changing of prooxidant-antioxidant homeostasis and oxidative correlation lipid peroxidation in blood for chemiluminescence reaction (sum light emission, the final intensity of the light emission, maximum intensity of the first flash light emission, velocity formation of free radicals, time to reach maximum values intensity of the first flash light emission). There were no significant changes in catalase activities in the experimental rat blood from those in the control group rats
Integral assessment of oxidative metabolism during long-term domestic revenue 131I in rats
Peroxy processes in the blood of male rats of the Wistar chemiluminescence method with prolonged oral intake of 131I were investigated. It has been shown that long-term oral intake of 131I (29.3 kBq/day per animal for 14 days) causes changes in the indices of the chemiluminescent reaction (aggregate chemiluminescence, luminescence maximum and the final intensity of luminescence, time to reach maximum values). However, absolute values of these indicators are not significantly dependent on the administration of the active isotope. We discuss features of the current processes of peroxidation in the blood of laboratory rats after prolonged administration of 131I
Lipid peroxidation in rat blood following a single administration of different active 131I
Peroxidation in rat blood male Wistar by chemiluminescence single ingestion of radioactive iodine was inves-tigated. introduction of activity (3.3, 19.2 and 90 kBq per animal) cause changes in the indices of the chemilumi-nescent reaction (sum light emission, the final intensity of the glow, the time to reach maximum values), the value of which is not significantly dependent on the administration of the active isotope was shown. There were no sig-nificant changes in catalase activity in the blood. The features of the flow processes of peroxide in the blood of rats with single administration 131І were discussed
Peroxidase activity of the rat blood at prolonged intake of 137Cs
Investigated peroxidase activity of blood white nonlinear rats-males by daily oral administration of 15 kBq 137Cs by chemiluminescence. Discovered oscillatory nature of the changes chemiluminescent indicators peroxi-dase oxidation of blood, the maximum deviation of the control are registered during the 4th and 60th days, and the minimum at the 1st, 7th and 135th days. Recovering kinetic parameters CL does not occur within 135 days of ob-servation (the 90th day of the completion of the introduction of radioactive cesium)
Modification of oxidation metabolism by biological active preparation RAPAMID in mice with different radiosensitivity
Influence of Rapamid, new biological active preparation of natural origin with antioxidant properties, on oxidation metabolism in mice with different radiosensitivity under single total irradiated, doze 1.0 Gy, was investigated. The one usage course of Rapamid before irradiation, according to oxide metabolism values, exert considerable radioprotective efficacy upon radiosensitive C3H mice, whereas on radioresistant mice (line CBA) such course result in increasing of
free radicals processes. The authors pay attention to necessity of individual approach when drugs with antioxidant properties
are used
