    Modeling IoT Smart Home Network

    The purpose of the article is to present the process of modeling the IoT smart home (SH) network, which combines both user needs and efficiency requirements. The use of Alibaba cloud platform, which reduces complexity and development time, reduces costs, was justified in the project of building the IoT SH network. The structure of this platform is given, its main components are considered and an algorithm for its configuration is given. MQTT is used as an access protocol in the IoT SH network to achieve fast and reliable data transmission. Open source code, reliability, simplicity and other characteristics justify the choice of this data transfer protocol. Modeling of the network IoT SH is based on the knowledge gained in the process of practical implementation. First, the online problems of the system are tested, after the system is able to work after modification and debugging of programs, a street lamp is used as an example to create an instance of an IoT SH network on a cloud platform. The process of creating an example of an IoT SH network is described in detail in steps, in which data from a street lamp is transmitted to a cloud platform, processed there, and then displayed on a mobile device. A mobile phone was used to implement two-way interaction, simulate the sensor of the IoT SH network and display the results. The algorithms for configuring the platform, modeling the sensor and creating an object model of the device of the IoT SH network are given.     The purpose of the article is to model a smart home with decision-making and the use of the MajorDoMo IoT platform instead of a cloud platform. The main features of the article are: modeling of the IoT network for controlling the control unit on the MajorDoMo platform, the use of the MajorDoMo IoT platform in the Windows system for making decisions when controlling household appliances (fan or air conditioner) based on the tempe rature and humidity values received from a smartphone modeling sensors, transmitting the results of controlled data to the user's home page. The structure of the MajorDoMo platform is given, its functions are described, and commands for decision support are considered. The use of product rules is proposed as a decision-making model. An example of such a description for data regulation by the household appliances is given. The user can log into the IoT network and view changes in temperature and humidity in real time, as well as check the regulation of the equipment. The possibilities of the PHP language for the implementation of the control process are presented, in which the household device begins to adjust the parameters when the environmental monitoring system detects that the corresponding data exceeds the set threshold

    Research on the influence of a high proportion of wind power connected to the receiving power grid on the system power angle stability

    With the increasing proportion of wind power integration, the effect on the stability of the system power angle cannot be ignored. In this paper, based on the different power characteristics of direct-drive wind generators before a fault and after its clearance, the system model of the receiving-end grid with thermal units replaced by wind turbines is simplified. The influence of the increase in the replacement ratio of wind power in the receiving-end grid on the transfer impedance between the sending end and receiving end is analyzed. Based on the equal area rule, the influence of the replacement ratio k within the receiving-end grid, power grid operation mode, and wind power integration point on the system power angle stability is analyzed. It is concluded that the stability of the system’s power angle will first get better and then deteriorate with the increase in the replacement ratio of wind power, the system can bear a larger proportion of wind turbines under the low-load operation mode, and the system’s power angle of the replacement of wind power with equal capacity in the load center region is relatively better. The aforementioned conclusions are verified by simulation with real data from a bulk power system in China. Therefore, the method and conclusion can also be used to study the power angle stability of other large-scale power grids

    In this paper, authors proposed a neurological disease recognition technique using gated recurrent unit neural network and supporting Internet of Things (IoT), which was checked by taking Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and Parkinson’s disease (PD) as examples. In this method first pre-emphasized and denoised the voice data, then segmented the voice signals with a sliding fixed window using the Hamming window function. Then we were extracted the eGeMAPSv02 voice features from the window signal, fed the features into the gated recurrent unit neural network model for its training, testing and achieve the disease diagnosis. The results of the study showed that despite the limited generalization ability of the gated recurrent unit model, it can still efficiently achieve voice recognition detection of a portion of neurological diseases. The model is implemented on the basis of the IoT platform for building a subsystem of IT diagnostics of patients as part of the smart city project.
