Anisotropic flow of identified particles in Pb--Pb collisions at sNN=\sqrt{s_{_{\rm NN}}} = 2.76 TeV with the ALICE detector

The measurement of anisotropic flow of identified particles, including charged pion, kaon, (anti-)proton as well as strange and multi-strange particles (KS0{\rm K_{S}^{0}}, Λ{\rm \Lambda}, Ξ{\rm \Xi} and Ω{\rm \Omega}) are measured in Pb--Pb collisions at sNN\sqrt{s_{_{{\rm NN}}}} = 2.76 TeV with the ALICE detector. The results are compared to measurements at RHIC and hydrodynamic model calculations. The mass splitting and the scaling with the number of constituent quarks of the anisotropic flow are also discussed.Comment: 4 pages, 5 figures, Proceedings of Strangeness in Quark Matter 2013 (SQM 2013, Birmingham

Overview of recent azimuthal correlation measurements from ALICE

Azimuthal correlations are a powerful tool to probe the properties and the evolution of the collision system. In this proceedings, we will review the recent azimuthal correlation measurements from ALICE at the LHC. The comparison to other experimental measurements and various theoretical calculations will be discussed as well.Comment: 12 pages, 9 figures, invited talk in 5th International Conference on New Frontiers in Physics (6-14 July 2016), Crete, Greec
