SPORT APPLICATIONS FOR CFD ANALYSIS

Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and the sports applications of CFD were introduced. It was discussed that the level of sports games was enhanced by calculating the performance of equipment by use of CFD. The results indicated that by use of CFD, the simulative computation can be finished in the short period, the relation of the fluid dynamics and the figure of equipment was gained

Local Operations in qubit arrays via global but periodic Manipulation

We provide a scheme for quantum computation in lattice systems via global but periodic manipulation, in which only effective periodic magnetic fields and global nearest neighbor interaction are required. All operations in our scheme are attainable in optical lattice or solid state systems. We also investigate universal quantum operations and quantum simulation in 2 dimensional lattice. We find global manipulations are superior in simulating some nontrivial many body Hamiltonians.Comment: 5 pages, 2 figures, to appear in Phys. Rev.

HYDRODYNAMIC PERFORMANCE OF THE ROWING HULL

The viscous resistance of the rowing hull was calculated by means of 8th ITTC formula; the wave-making resistance of the rowing hull at different velocity was calculated based on the Michell integral formula. An Investigation into the Environmental and Human Health Implications of Microplastic Toxicity

The pervasive distribution of microplastics in the environment has become a global concern, with potential repercussions for human health, ecosystems, and biological toxicity. This review synthesizes current research on the environmental distribution, potential pathways of human exposure, and health implications of microplastics. We highlight the methodologies employed in quantifying and characterizing microplastics, as well as the toxicological assessments conducted in various biological matrices. Our findings indicate a significant correlation between microplastic exposure and adverse health outcomes, necessitating urgent policy interventions and further research.
