SYSFLOW: Efficient Execution Platform for IoT Devices

Traditional executable delivery models pose challenges for IoT devices with limited storage, necessitating the download of complete executables and dependencies. Network solutions like NFS, designed for data files, encounter high IO overhead for irregular access patterns. This paper introduces SYSFLOW, a lightweight network-based executable delivery system for IoT. SYSFLOW delivers on-demand, redirecting local disk IO to the server through optimized network IO. To optimize cache hit rates, SYSFLOW employs server-side action-based prefetching, reducing latency by 45.1% to 75.8% compared to native Linux filesystems on SD cards. In wired environments, SYSFLOW's latency is up to 67.7% lower than NFS. In wireless scenarios, SYSFLOW performs 22.9% worse than Linux, comparable with Linux and outperforming NFS by up to 60.7%. While SYSFLOW's power consumption may be 6.7% higher than NFS, it offers energy savings due to lower processing time

Effect of a 180 mg ticagrelor loading dose on myocardial necrosis in patients undergoing elective percutaneous coronary intervention: A preliminary study

Background: To examine whether a loading dose of ticagrelor on top of clopidogrel reduced postpercutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) myonecrosis. Methods: Seventy seven coronary artery disease patients received a loading dose of 300 mg clopidogrel pre-PCI and were divided into three groups: group TT (n = 36): a loading dose of 180 mg ticagrelor pre-PCI, followed by ticagrelor 90 mg twice daily commencing one day post-PCI; group CT (n = 26): a maintenance dose of ticagrelor 90 mg twice daily; group CC (n = 15): clopidogrel 75 mg daily post- PCI. High sensitivity cardiac troponin T (hs-cTnT) and creatine kinase-MB (CK-MB) were measured pre-PCI and 0 h, 2 h or 24 h post-PCI. Platelet aggregation was measured in a separate cohort of 54 coronary artery disease patients (35 diabetic and 19 non-diabetic patients). Results: There were no significant differences in hs-cTnT and CK-MB concentration among the three groups. In group TT, diabetic patients had significant higher Δhs-cTnT2h–0h than non-diabetic patients. In the second cohort, although baseline platelet aggregation was higher in diabetic than non-diabetic patients, platelet aggregation was comparable between diabetic and non-diabetic patients at 0 and 2 h post-PCI. Conclusions: This study indicates that a loading dose of ticagrelor does not significantly reduce post- PCI myonecrosis. Diabetes is associated with more post-PCI myonecrosis. A loading dose of ticagrelor effectively reduces platelet aggregation in diabetic patients.

Aiming at the problem that the current low accuracy rate of face detection and target tracking, a reinforcement learning algorithm is proposed, which integrates face detection technology and target tracking technology organically, adopts the face detection algorithm based on Multi-Task Convolutional Neural Network (MTCNN) and target tracking algorithm based on Kalman filtering, so as to realize face detection, multiplayer face recognition and dynamic tracking of personnel movement. In this paper, the configuration environment is Anaconda, the operating platform is PyCharm, the video-based face detection and dynamic capture and rapid identification system has been designed and developed. The system consists of two modules: face detection module and target tracking module. The optimized face detection and dynamic capture algorithm improved the detection success rate by about 11.5%, the face detection success rate by about 15.2%, the dynamic capture success rate increased by about 12.0%, and the optimized system has a wider practicality

Effect of Twice Hole Expansion on Fatigue Property of Ti1023 Alloy

The property of the surface layer of twice hole expansion Ti1023 alloy was analyzed by TEM, X-ray and roughness tester, and the strengthen mechanism of the bushing hole expansion was discussed. The results indicate that the roughness(Ra1.722→0.349 μm), hardness(Hv32→38) and residual stress distribution of the hole are improved by twice hole expansion techniques, and the fretting wear fatigue(fatigue limits 385→619MPa) of Ti1023 alloy is improved

Progress and Suggestions of Conservation Tillage in China

    No full text
Conservation tillage is a technology regarding sustainable agricultural development, which features less or no tillage and crop stubble covering and has brought significant economic, environmental, and social benefits to China’s agricultural production. As agricultural production in China develops toward the directions of large scale, high efficiency, and intelligence, promoting the development of conservation tillage becomes conducive to cultivated land protection, grain supply security, and agricultural technology improvement. This study reviews the development process of conservation tillage in China from the aspects of research and development of conservation tillage technologies and equipment, demonstration and ability construction, and utilization of black soil in Northeast China. It also summarizes the development status of conservation tillage technologies and equipment in China, involving representative technical models and key machines for surface straw and stubble treatment, shallow soil tillage, and no- or less-tillage sowing. The major factors that affect the development of conservation tillage in China are analyzed, including suitable model and equipment, support of laws and policies, and drive of large-scale planting households. Furthermore, suggestions are proposed to promote the rapid and stable development of conservation tillage in China. First, a national science and technology innovation platform should be built and high-standard demonstration projects should be implemented by counties. Second, national action plans on conservation tillage should be implemented to strengthen policy guidance. Third, publicity of conservation tillage should be further strengthened

The result showed a gravimetric sludge reduction <span class="hit">of</span> 53.8% and modification <span class="hit">in</span> the texture <span class="hit">of</span> the sludge. The residual form <span class="hit">of</span> <span class="hit">heavy</span> <span class="hit">metals</span> (As, Cd, Cr, Cu, Ni, Pb and Zn) was increased, which reduced the risk <span class="hit">of</span> the phytoaccumulation. An evident concentration <span class="hit">of</span> <span class="hit">heavy</span> <span class="hit">metals</span> <span class="hit">in</span> <span class="hit">worm</span> faece and a bioaccumulation <span class="hit">of</span> <span class="hit">heavy</span> <span class="hit">metals</span> <span class="hit">in</span> <span class="hit">aquatic</span> <span class="hit">worms</span> were also observed. Activated sludge is reduced significantly, sludge settleability is improved and the bioavailability <span class="hit">of</span> <span class="hit">heavy</span> <span class="hit">metals</span> <span class="hit">in</span> waste sludge is minimized, which are beneficial to wastewater treatment and safe disposal <span class="hit">of</span> waste sludge. &copy; (2012) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland
