KAJIAN ORGANOLOGI ALAT MUSIK KECAPAK DI DESA BELITANG 1 KECAMATAN BELITANG KABUPATEN SEKADAU
This writing examines the organology of the Kecapak musical instrument in particular about the structure and manufacturing process is the background of this research. The problem in this research is how the organology and process of making Kecapak musical instruments. The research method used is descriptive in the form of qualitative research. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews and documentation. The data source of this research is Sheikh Husin Bahtib. The data collection tool is the writer as the main instrument. Checking the validity of the data from this study triangulation of sources and techniques of adding observations. Data analysis in this study is to find, compile and conclude. The results of this study on the organology of the Kecapak musical instrument, showed that the Kecapak musical instrument had a skin and Tawang study structure. Shows materials such as wood, leather, rope and iron as well as tools used by carpentry tools. The process of making Kecapak musical instruments is made in the traditional way assisted by machines for smoothing so that the process of making Kecapak musical instruments in Belitang 1 Village, Belitang District, Sekadau Regency is quite complicated, such as forming holes in wood to make Tawang which must be installed and attached to a membrane using iron rings and ropes. The results of this study are expected to be a source of knowledge and preservation of the Kecapak musical instrument
PENGGUNAAN MEDIA AUDIO VISUAL UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA DALAM MATERI PELAJARAN ALAT MUSIK DAYAK
AbstractThe purpose of this research is to improve students’ learning outcomes in the subject matter of Dayak musical by using audio visual media. This research used descriptive methods, with the qualitative approach. The research method applied is a classroom action research with the cycle of planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The subject of this research is class X especially class X IPS2 of SMAN 1 Sejangkung, Sambas district. Data collecting that are applied in this research are the observation sheet, test, and documentation. Based on the results, using audio visual media can improve students’ learning outcomes in the subject matter of Dayak musical. It can be seen from the results test obtained by the students in cycle 1 and cycle 2. After the action is done in cycle 1 there is an increase in the average value that was 69.8. after that, the next processed with action in cycle 2, the increase is obtained that was 94.2.      Keywords: Audio Visual Media, Dayak Musical Instrument

AbstractThis research is based on the variety of striking patterns of the Senggayung musical instrument which is unique in its various striking patterns. The research problem, how is the technique of playing the Senggayung musical instrument and how is the pattern of the Senggayung musical instrument. The aim of this research is to describe the technique of playing the Senggayung musical instrument and to describe the various patterns of striking the Senggayung musical instrument. Research methods, descriptive research and musicalological approaches. The research data, the technique of playing the Senggayung musical instrument and the striking pattern of the Senggayung musical instrument. Data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validity test, source and technique triangulation. The data were analyzed by examining and describing the playing techniques and the various patterns of playing the Senggayung musical instrument. The Senggayung musical instrument is played by hitting other Senggayung musical instruments. Has two sound colors, namely "Dung" and "Kit". The various patterns of striking the Senggayung musical instrument include striking patterns for the Anjing Nyalak, Mogak, Pempuruk Tiduk, Hujjan Deras, Tentaer, Pangpangkut, Antu Bangkit, Anak Dare Ngirak, and Katak Raong.Keywords: Punch pattern, Senggayung, Pangkalan Buton Villag
ANALISIS MELODI IRINGAN TARI JEPIN TAMMBONG ENAM DI DESA KARIMUNTING KECAMATAN SUNGAI RAYA KEPULAUAN
AbstractThe study aims to describe, notate, and analyze the Selodang melody to the musical accompaniment of the jepin dance Tammbong Six in Karimunting Village, Sungai Raya Islands District. The method used is the descriptive analysis method and uses a musicological approach. There are three parts of melodies consisting of Pembuka (Opening), Tahto, and Yale. In playing the Selodang melody, the rhythm and structure of the melody serve as an accompaniment to the strains of the vocal melody. The musical accompaniment of the Jepin Tammbong Enam dance uses a basic tone of 3b or Eb = Do, the melody uses a harmonic C minor scale, consisting of la, si, do, re, mi, fa, so, la. The shortest interval is the P1 interval (prime) with an interval of 0, and the longest is P5 (quint) with an interval of 3. There are several melodic cadence patterns, namely Perfect Authentic Cadence (chords V-I) and Half Cadence (chords I−IV). In addition, Selodang forms the contours of pendulous, static, Pendulous and Ascending, and Pendulous and Descending. This research is expected to expand the interest in studying traditional arts, especially in Jepin Tammbong Enam dance arts in Karimunting Village, Sungai Raya Islands District.Keywords: Selodang Melody Analysis, Jepin Tammbong Enam Danc
PENELUSURAN SEJARAH PUKULAN GANTUNG INSTRUMEN TAR GRUP HADRAH HUBBUL WATHAN KELURAHAN SUNGAI JAWI DALAM
Abstract The purpose of this research is to describe the history and the development and the concept of learning by pukulan gantung of Hadrah Hubbul Wathan Group.This research used qualitative historical descriptive method and history approach. The sources of this research are Awaluddin Hamdan, Anwar Dja’far, and Abdul Halim who knew about pukulan gantung of Hubbul Wathan hadrah group also several hadrah artists who lived in every districts in Pontianak. The technique which used were observation, interview, and documentation. According to the data analyzed, it can be concluded that pukulan gantung is a syncopation from the term of tar instrument played in Pontianak. It was created by Hubbul Wathan hadrah group in 2002 till 2005. This hit has its own uniqueness to Hubbul Wathan hadrah art group and another hadrah artists in Pontianak. They interpretated that hit as the climax in hadrah playing. In 2009 to 2013 pukulan gantung started to spread out to another different art groups in every districts in Pontianak until now.   Keywords: history, pukulan Gantung, Hubbul Wathan
