    The creative industrial park : formation path and evolution mechanism

    This paper has built a three-stage assumption of creative industrial park on the base of evolutionary economics, which are the gather of units, the construction of interface and the development of network. The gather of units is a reflection of resource search, the construction of interface is a need of identity, and the development of network is a result of multi-dimensional expansion.In the three-stage evolution, the creative industrial park increases constantly their evolution level from the simple geographic gathered to the division and cooperation of labor, until the formation of novel systems. Then this paper analyzes the 798 creative industrial park using the three-stage assumption. This paper finds the main problem of 798’s self-destructing after the low level development of the third stage is the exclusion of the commercial prosperity to the art production. Accordingly,the paper puts forword four modes of promoting the integration between art and commerce. At last, this paper argues the different characteristics of the creative industrial park from other industrial parks. On the angle of formation path, the essence of creative industries is integration of culture and economy, technology.     Coupled effects of local movement and global interaction on contagion

    By incorporating segregated spatial domain and individual-based linkage into the SIS (susceptible-infected-susceptible) model, we investigate the coupled effects of random walk and intragroup interaction on contagion. Compared with the situation where only local movement or individual-based linkage exists, the coexistence of them leads to a wider spread of infectious disease. The roles of narrowing segregated spatial domain and reducing mobility in epidemic control are checked, these two measures are found to be conducive to curbing the spread of infectious disease. Considering heterogeneous time scales between local movement and global interaction, a log-log relation between the change in the number of infected individuals and the timescale Ï„\tau is found. A theoretical analysis indicates that the evolutionary dynamics in the present model is related to the encounter probability and the encounter time. A functional relation between the epidemic threshold and the ratio of shortcuts, and a functional relation between the encounter time and the timescale Ï„\tau are found

    VcbV_{cb} from the semileptonic decay B→DℓνˉℓB\to D \ell \bar{\nu}_{\ell} and the properties of the DD meson distribution amplitude

    The improved QCD light-cone sum rule (LCSR) provides an effective way to deal with the heavy-to-light transition form factors (TFFs). Firstly, we adopt the improved LCSR approach to deal with the B→DB\to D TFF f+(q2)f^{+}(q^2) up to twist-4 accuracy. Due to the elimination of the most uncertain twist-3 contribution and the large suppression of the twist-4 contribution, the obtained LCSR shall provide us a good platform for testing the DD-meson leading-twist DA. For the purpose, we suggest a new model for the DD-meson leading-twist DA (ϕ3D\phi_{3D}), whose longitudinal behavior is dominantly determined by a parameter BB. Moreover, we find its second Gegenbauer moment a2D∼Ba^D_2\sim B. Varying BB within certain region, one can conveniently mimic the DD-meson DA behavior suggested in the literature. Inversely, by comparing the estimations with the experimental data on the DD-meson involved processes, one can get a possible range for the parameter BB and a determined behavior for the DD-meson DA. Secondly, we discuss the B→DB\to D TFF at the maximum recoil region and present a detailed comparison of it with the pQCD estimation and the experimental measurements. Thirdly, by applying the LCSR on f+(q2)f^{+}(q^2), we study the CKM matrix element \Vcb together with its uncertainties by adopting two types of processes, i.e. the B0/Bˉ0B^0/\bar{B}^0-type and the B±B^{\pm}-type. It is noted that a smaller B≾0.20B \precsim 0.20 shows a better agreement with the experimental value on \Vcb. For example, for the case of B=0.00B=0.00, we obtain ∣Vcb∣(B0/Bˉ0−type)=(41.28−4.82+5.68−1.16+1.13)×10−3|V_{cb}|(B^0/\bar{B}^0-{\rm type})=(41.28 {^{+5.68}_{-4.82}} {^{+1.13}_{-1.16}}) \times 10^{-3} and ∣Vcb∣(B±−type)=(40.44−4.72+5.56−1.00+0.98)×10−3|V_{cb}|(B^{\pm}-{\rm type})=(40.44 {^{+5.56}_{-4.72}} {^{+0.98}_{-1.00}}) \times 10^{-3}, whose first (second) uncertainty comes from the squared average of the mentioned theoretical (experimental) uncertainties.Comment: 13 pages, 10 figures.     A generalized public goods game with coupling of individual ability and project benefit

    Facing a heavy task, any single person can only make a limited contribution and team cooperation is needed. As one enjoys the benefit of the public goods, the potential benefits of the project are not always maximized and may be partly wasted. By incorporating individual ability and project benefit into the original public goods game, we study the coupling effect of the four parameters, the upper limit of individual contribution, the upper limit of individual benefit, the needed project cost and the upper limit of project benefit on the evolution of cooperation. Coevolving with the individual-level group size preferences, an increase in the upper limit of individual benefit promotes cooperation while an increase in the upper limit of individual contribution inhibits cooperation. The coupling of the upper limit of individual contribution and the needed project cost determines the critical point of the upper limit of project benefit, where the equilibrium frequency of cooperators reaches its highest level. Above the critical point, an increase in the upper limit of project benefit inhibits cooperation. The evolution of cooperation is closely related to the preferred group-size distribution. A functional relation between the frequency of cooperators and the dominant group size is found

    An Adaptive Framework to Tune the Coordinate Systems in Nature-Inspired Optimization Algorithms

    The performance of many nature-inspired optimization algorithms (NIOAs) depends strongly on their implemented coordinate system. However, the commonly used coordinate system is fixed and not well suited for different function landscapes, NIOAs thus might not search efficiently. To overcome this shortcoming, in this paper we propose a framework, named ACoS, to adaptively tune the coordinate systems in NIOAs. In ACoS, an Eigen coordinate system is established by making use of the cumulative population distribution information, which can be obtained based on a covariance matrix adaptation strategy and an additional archiving mechanism. Since the population distribution information can reflect the features of the function landscape to some extent, NIOAs in the Eigen coordinate system have the capability to identify the modality of the function landscape. In addition, the Eigen coordinate system is coupled with the original coordinate system, and they are selected according to a probability vector. The probability vector aims to determine the selection ratio of each coordinate system for each individual, and is adaptively updated based on the collected information from the offspring. ACoS has been applied to two of the most popular paradigms of NIOAs, i.e., particle swarm optimization and differential evolution, for solving 30 test functions with 30D and 50D at the 2014 IEEE Congress on Evolutionary Computation.     Rigid vortices in MgB2

    Magnetic relaxation of high-pressure synthesized MgB2_2 bulks with different thickness is investigated. It is found that the superconducting dia-magnetic moment depends on time in a logarithmic way; the flux-creep activation energy decreases linearly with the current density (as expected by Kim-Anderson model); and the activation energy increases linearly with the thickness of sample when it is thinner than about 1 mm. These features suggest that the vortices in the MgB2_2 are rather rigid, and the pinning and creep can be well described by Kim-Anderson model.Comment: Typo corrected & reference adde
