Methodological tools for the implementation of projects for the reconstruction of cultural heritage sites, taking into account the reduction of environmental impact

    No full text
Investment and construction projects to reduce the environmental impact on cultural heritage sites are important, especially in connection with the implementation of the National Project to enhance domestic tourism in Russia. On one hand, there has been significant progress in developing regulatory and technical documentation for cultural heritage sites and their conservation. However, on the other hand, there is an issue with outdated cost estimation methods and normative frameworks for determining the costs, as well. Hence, the role of environmental impact on the cultural heritage sites is underestimated. This problem leads to the need to develop scientific and methodological tools for the implementation of projects for the reconstruction of the cultural heritage sites considering the reduction of the impact of harsh environmental conditions. The authors proposed a logical research design, developed and improved methodological tools for selecting projects for the conservation of cultural heritage sites and assessing the impact of local environment, and tested the proposed methodological tools using the example of a project for the reconstruction of a cultural heritage site in the Moscow region. The authors proposed methods and approaches to reduce the environmental impact on the local cultural heritage sites for better conservation of cultural heritage sites. Within a framework of Russian Federation in total, further study is considered

Construction in the digital economy: prospects and areas of transformation

    No full text
The authors substantiated the need for digitalization of construction as an imperative of embedding the industry in the ecosystem of the digital economy, taking into account the implementation of the principle of fractality in management. The main digitalization tools have been identified, points of growth in various projections have been determined, and the impact of factors-drivers of digital transformation has been analyzed and assessed. In the process of digitalization of the construction industry, it is necessary, first of all, to ensure the integration of information models of investment and construction projects and existing state information systems. The paper considers the process of integrating the FSIS PC and the BIM design system, identifying the corresponding problem areas and the main stakeholders in the creation of an information system of pricing in construction, and differentiating the possible effects

Accessibility of the urban environment for people with limited mobility using the example of Arkhangelsk

The aim of the study is to assess the availability of urban space for people with limited mobility (PLM). Research objectives: - assessment of urban areas - determining the level of accessibility of the urban environment by assigning accessibility indices to certain territories (quarters); - testing using the example of separate quarters of the city of Arkhangelsk. Two non-adjacent city blocks located in its central part were selected for testing. According to the results of the study, it is possible to conclude that the availability of the urban environment for PLM in the selected quarters is: 37.2% for the first quarter, 42.1% for the second quarter. There is no comprehensive infrastructure suitable for PLM in the territory. Among the main problems are poor coating of footpaths, barriers in the form of curbs, the absence of railings on stairs, canopies and ramps, as well as the lack of equipped recreation places. A feature and advantage of the method is that the purpose of the study is not just a description of the quality characteristics of accessibility, but the determination of specific indicators of the security of various complex components of a comfortable urban environment. Integrated monitoring of the quality of the urban environment for PLM will allow the implementation of targeted programs and activities, taking into account their relevance to the expected effects. This contributes to the prudent use of financial resources. The totality of development programs and measures for individual territories will determine the development strategy of the city as a whole

Green building as a target focus in quality and energy efficiency management of construction products

    No full text
The urgency of the problem of improving the quality of construction products is caused by the need to ensure sustainable development of territories, increase the energy efficiency of buildings and structures, increase the efficiency of investment and construction projects, reduce resource costs, and reduce the negative impact on the environment. The article substantiates the relationship between the quality of construction products and their consumer value, which made it possible to structure the criteria for the quality of construction products and determine the benchmarks in quality management. Taking into account the substantiated criteria for the quality of construction, a methodological toolkit for improving the efficiency of quality management based on a value-oriented approach is proposed. A model has been developed for the efficiency of improving the quality of construction products based on the triad “resource efficiency - minimization of anthropogenic impact - environmental safety for human and nature” until the criteria for green building are achieved

Innovation and certification as the basis for the development of energy-efficient construction

Within the framework of the concept of sustainable development, issues of energy efficiency, environmental safety, minimization of anthropogenic impact on the environment are of particular relevance. In construction, these theses are projected onto the segment of energy-efficient, “green” construction. Nowadays, the development of energy-efficient construction in Russia is progressing at a slow pace, and this is primarily due to the lack of an integrated energy management system, environmental certification of construction products, and institutional features of the real estate market. The authors systematized the methods of improving energy efficiency and greening of construction regarding the types of real estate, analyzed the main global and Russian environmental certification systems in construction, identified the features, advantages and disadvantages of each system, substantiated the need to ensure the generally accepted Russian certification system. The problem of enhancing energy-efficient construction is also interconnected with the need to increase the level of innovation in construction, which is substantiated by the authors in the paper. The authors substantiated the need to change the criteria for monitoring investment projects, taking into account the optimization of energy efficiency and environmental performance of real estate
