    Critical Ignition Temperature of Fuel-air Explosive

    The charge of fuel-air explosive (FAE) warhead usually is solid-liquid mixed fuel. The solid component is aluminium powder. To meet the demand of FAE weapon usage and storage safety, in the mixed-fuel medium, there must be gaps where adiabatic compression occurs during launchin-e overloading- of warhead. Adiabatic compression makes the temperature of the mediumin the gaps to rise. High temperature can cause dxplosion of the mixed fuel during launching acceleration of the warhead, which is very dangerous. Because the fuel is a multicomponentmixture, the critical ignitioh temperature can't be determined only by one component. Through experiment, the critical ignition temperature of the mixed fuel is attained, and the changingregularity of the pressure following the temperature is shown in this paper

    Clinical study on the optic nerve protection of calcium dobesilate in treating glaucoma

    AIM:To observe the protective effect of calcium dobesilate on optic nerve of glaucoma patients whose intraocular pressure has been under control through operation.<p>METHODS: A total of 78 inpatients(89 eyes)with glaucoma in this hospital from January, 2011 to February, 2012 were enrolled. All patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group with 6 months in a course. The visual acuity, visual field(mean sensibility, MS), and intraocular pressure were measured at the experiment onset and 6 months later to evaluate the clinical effect.<p>RESULTS: There were no statistically significant differences in the visual acuity, intraocular pressure between the two groups neither at the experiment onset nor after 6 months(<i>P</i>>0.05). The mean sensibility(MS)of the treatment group was obviously improved(14.56±5.03 <i>vs </i>18.9±5.77, <i>P</i><0.05)with statistically significant differences before and after the treatment, while the MS remained unchanged in the control group(14.75±5.17 <i>vs </i>13.48±4.69). There are statistically significant difference between the treatment group and the control group. Compared to the ratio of improvement, stability, and deterioration in the control group(10.3%, 48.7%, 41.0%), the indexes were changed obviously in the treatment group(64.1%, 28.2%, 7.7%,<i>P</i><0.05)with statistically significant difference between the two groups.<p>CONCLUSION:Calcium dobesilate can improve mean retinal sensitivity and protect the optic nerve in glaucoma patients whose intraocular pressure has been controlled

    CIM-based Data-sharing Scheme for Online Calculation of Theoretical Line Loss

    AbstractThis paper presents a new CIM-based data-sharing scheme for online calculation of theoretical line loss. The proposed method can read data from other applications which are being used in electric power company, such as electrical SCADA, Power Distribution Network GIS, DMIS, and so on. Moreover, the calculation model, which is used in theoretical calculation of line loss, is formed automatically. Users no longer need to manually input the structure data and operation data of grid. The operation data are updated from the DMIS and the SCADA continually, and the structure data are changing according to GIS and SCADA. Main electric wiring diagrams are also consistent with GIS and SCADA. Compared with conventional approaches, the proposed implementation can cut down the requirement of time and energy that line loss management must spend in maintaining the original data of calculation

    Impact of Clay Stabilizer on the Methane Desorption Kinetics and Isotherms of Longmaxi Shale, China

    Knowing methane desorption characteristics is essential to define the contribution of adsorbed gas to gas well production. To evaluate the synthetic effect of a clay stabilizer solution on methane desorption kinetics and isotherms pertaining to Longmaxi shale, an experimental setup was designed based on the volumetric method. The objective was to conduct experiments on methane adsorption and desorption kinetics and isotherms before and after clay stabilizer treatments. The experimental data were a good fit for both the intraparticle diffusion model and the Freundlich isotherm model. We analyzed the effect of the clay stabilizer on desorption kinetics and isotherms. Results show that clay stabilizer can obviously improve the diffusion rate constant and reduce the methane adsorption amount. Moreover, we analyzed the desorption efficiency before and after treatment as well as the adsorbed methane content. The results show that a higher desorption efficiency after treatment can be observed when the pressure is higher than 6.84 MPa. Meanwhile, the adsorbed methane content before and after treatment all increase when the pressure decreases, and clay stabilizer can obviously promote the adsorbed methane to free gas when the pressure is lower than 19 MPa. This can also be applied to the optimization formulation of slickwater and the design of gas well production

    Photometric observations of flares on AD Leo from GWAC-F30 and TESS

    We observed active M dwarf star AD Leo for 146 hr in photometry by GWAC-F30 and also analyzed 528-hr photometric data of the star from TESS. A total of 9 and 70 flares are detected from GWAC-F30 and TESS, respectively. Flare durations, amplitudes and energies are calculated. The distributions of the three properties and FFDs are given. Within the same energy range of flares, the FFDs of AD Leo obtained in this research and the previous study are basically consistent, which suggests that the magnetic activity of this star has not significantly changed compared to that decades ago. Comparing with the average FFD of M-type stars, AD Leo's FFD is twice higher, indicating that its magnetic activity is more active than that of the average level of the M-type. Based on TESS light curve, AD Leo's rotation period is calculated as 2.21(+0.010.01){+0.01 \choose -0.01} day , supporting the result given in previous research. During the decay phase of the most energetic flare from TESS, we identified QPPs and determined a 26.5-min oscillation period, which is currently the longest period for AD Leo, suggesting that long periodic physical process existed during flare of this star
