Clinical effects of using rigid gas permeable contact lens for refractoriness amblyopia
AIM:To explore the clinical effects of using rigid gas permeable contact lens(RGP)for refractoriness amblyopia patients.
METHODS: Ninety-eight cases(98 eyes)were voluntarily divided into RGP group and frame glasses group, and the two groups were received the regularity combined training to treat amblyopia for 6mo. We overviewed the corrected vision(on that day, 1, 3, 6mo)and the complication in RGP group.
RESULTS: The corrected vision in RGP group was obviously better than that in control group during the same time. The therapeutic efficacy in RGP group was better than that in frame glasses group, without serious complications at 6mo after treatment.
CONCLUSION: RGP groups could get better corrected visual acuity. It is safe and effective to improve corrected vision for refractoriness amblyopia patients
Distilling Word Embeddings: An Encoding Approach
Distilling knowledge from a well-trained cumbersome network to a small one
has recently become a new research topic, as lightweight neural networks with
high performance are particularly in need in various resource-restricted
systems. This paper addresses the problem of distilling word embeddings for NLP
tasks. We propose an encoding approach to distill task-specific knowledge from
a set of high-dimensional embeddings, which can reduce model complexity by a
large margin as well as retain high accuracy, showing a good compromise between
efficiency and performance. Experiments in two tasks reveal the phenomenon that
distilling knowledge from cumbersome embeddings is better than directly
training neural networks with small embeddings.Comment: Accepted by CIKM-16 as a short paper, and by the Representation

Research on Key Quality Characteristics of Electromechanical Product Based on Meta-Action Unit
Electromechanical products have many quality characteristics, representing their quality. In addition, there are long-existed quality problems of electromechanical products, such as poor accuracy, short precision life, large fluctuations in performance, frequently failing, and so on. Based on meta-action unit (MU) for electromechanical products, this book chapter proposes a key quality characteristic control method, which provides theoretical and technical support for essentially guaranteeing the complete machine’s quality. The formation mechanisms of MU’s four key quality characteristics (precision, precision life, performance stability, and reliability) are studied. Moreover, we introduce an overview of key quality characteristic control methods based on MU. The complex large system research method of “decomposition-analysis-synthesis” is adopted to study these key science problems
Kosterlitz-Thouless phase transition and reentrance in an anisotropic 3-state Potts model on the generalized Kagome lattice
The unusual reentrant phenomenon is observed in the anisotropic 3-state Potts
model on a gen- eralized Kagome lattice. By employing the linearized tensor
renormalization group method, we find that the reentrance can appear in the
region not only under a partial ordered phase as commonly known but also a
phase without a local order parameter, which is uncovered to fall into the uni-
versality of the Kosterlitz-Thouless (KT) type. The region of the reentrance
depends strongly on the ratios of the next nearest couplings {\alpha} = J2 /|J1
| and {\beta} = J3 /|J1 |. The phase diagrams in the plane of temperature
versus {\beta} for different {\alpha} are obtained. Through massive
calculations, it is also revealed that the quasi-entanglement entropy can be
used to accurately detect the KT transition temperature
