    One of the efforts made in selected courses and career prospects was good and in accordance with the ability of self. That was the way to prepared and plan a career, found out information about the types of courses and career prospects inorder not to get confused in taking the decision to choose courses in college. Therefore, the researchers felt the needed to develop a material about the career prospects of the various courses of study at colleges that was expected to be used by teachers for guidance and counseling gave to students. This material was prepared used methods of research and development (R & D). The purpose of this research was 1) Establishment of career prospects material of various courses in college that was suitable for students of second grade class IPA 3 at SMA Negeri 2 Tambang. 2) To determine the quality ofmaterial the career prospects of various courses in colleges produced. This material was validated by the supervisor I, II lecturers, teachers, guidance and counseling, as well as 42 students of class XI IPA 3 SMAN 2 Mine. This material was tested to the student with the allocation of time of 4 hours of lessons (4 x 45 \u27). This material consists of a definition of career prospects, aspects of career maturity, career planning, career planning measures, Career Pathways, and the types of courses in college and career prospects. The results of the development of this material indicates the quality of thematerial produced is in the category of "Very Good", with the acquisition of a score of 4.3 for the entire aspect of the assessment

    The objectives of this research are 1) to analyze personal problems of male and female students, 2) to analyze emotional problems of male and female students, 3) to analyze learning problems, 4) to analyze family problem of male and female students, 5) to analyze social problems of male and female students, 6) to analyze the problems that experienced by male and female students in general, 7) to analyze the category of the students' problems in general. The instrument of collecting data is a questioner. The using of this questioner is in order to obtain data regarding the preference of students' problems based on personal, emotional, learning, family and social aspects. The subject of this research is all of the students of Junior High School Number 1 Kampar Koto Kampar class VII, VIII and IX that consist of 0f 210 students. Sampling is determined by applying total sampling, that all of the population members are the samples. The result shows that 53 male students (58%) and 52 female students (44%) experienced personal problems especially for self confident, they are included in the middle category, 2) 43 male students (58%) and 63 female students (53%) female students experienced emotional problem especially for sadness, they are included in the middle category, 3) 49 (53%) male students experienced learning problem especially about learning motivation and 63 (53%) female students experienced learning problem especially about learning achievement both of them included in middle category, 4) 66 (72%) male students and 81 (69)% female students experienced family problem especially about the relationship with their parents, they are included in the few category, 5) 66 (72%) male students experienced social problem related to students and teachers relationship and 78 (70%) female students experienced the same problem but related to relationship with friends at the same age, both of them included in few category, 6) The problems of personal, emotional, learning, family and social aspects experienced by male and female students is the family aspect especially in learning motivation, it is included in the middle category. 7) the problem experienced by male and female students that included in the many category is the emotional problem (15%), especially about the sadness

    This study Aimed to see if there was an effect of group counseling tothe increase of student empathy. The sample was a class XI student of SMK FARMASIIKASARI PEKANBARU who have low empathy numbered 30 people.     This study purpose to know learn dicipline students before and after group tuition and to know how big influence of Tuition group to discipline learn Class student at class X SMA Handayani Pekanbaru academic year 2014/2015. problem is, 1)Determine level of learn discipline before tuition grup. 2) Determaine proses of tuition group with student learn discipline. 3) Determine effect of student learn discipline after tuition group. 4) To know the different learn discipline before and after tuition group. 5) To know effect level of student learn discipline with tuition group.The method used in the study was quasi experimental, quasi experimental studies in which no treatment was the dependent variable. Subjects of this study and the sample totaled 206 sudents were taken by random sampling technique were 30 samples from students of class X SMA Handayani Pekanbaru. The results of the data analysis that the appointment of acquisition is greater than t table t at 5%, = 2.000 (11,405> 2.000) , Ho is rejected and Ha accepted, which means that there are differences in the study significantly between student discipline before and after the implementation of group tuition services in class X SMA Handayani Pekanbaru of 38%

    Adolescence is the most critical period in social situations, it is often experienced by junior high school students who are the transition periods to a teenager. This transition period of teenage students has undergone a change in the role of social morality with peers so that teenagers want to show and show identity, but that seems to be the attitude of students who deviate from the norms of courtesy and existing etiquette. This research aims to find the effect of group guidance services on the improvement of students' moral attitudes. The research method used in this study is the quasi exsperimen using the one group pre-test pos test design. This study is conducted twice before the experiment (pre test) After the experiment with one subject group. Data analysis used in this research is descriptive analytic. The subject in this research is chosen by using non probability sampling technique with purposive sampling method of 30 students, the method of collecting this data is questionnaire.     This study aims to; 1) To know the description of career planning before the students are given information about the understanding of career services. 2) To know the description of information understanding the process of career services tar student career planning. 3) To know the description given after the students career planning information services on understanding the career. 4) To determine differences instudents\u27 career planning before and after the understanding of career information services.5) To determine the influence of information services on understanding the career of the students\u27 career planning. The method used is a method Pre-experimental design, by using One group pretest-posttest design. The population was class X TKK and TKJ SMK Negeri 4 Pekanbaru, amounting to 103 people and sample the whole of the population, using sampling techniques saturated. Picture of students\u27 career planning before being given information services are mostly located in the moderate category is 80.58%, and then in the unfavorable category at 11.65% and 7.77% for both categories. Picture of students\u27 career planning after the given information services mostly located in either category, namely 54.37%, while the category of very good 24.27%, medium category at 20.39% 0.97% unfavorable category. Based on the results of the calculation of the correlation coefficient between x1 and x2 is determinant coefficient of 0.57 and r2 = 0.32. This means that the contribution of information on career planning services by 32%. From the calculation of the t-test obtained t greater than ttable (18.5> 1.960) then the hypothesis is accepted, there is a difference between a career planning class X TKK and TKJ SMK Negeri 4 Pekanbaru before and after understanding the information about career services

    Cognitive development indicates the development of students\u27 way of thinking. Students\u27ability in coordinating the ways of thinking in order to solve various problemscanbeappliedas The Score Range of growing intelligence. The low of students\u27 positive thinking indicates students\u27 behavior that far from the concept of positive thinking as they have not hadpositive self-concept yet. The objective of this research is to find out the impacts ofgroup guidance and counseling services to students\u27 positive thinking of the experimental group. Themethod of this researchis real-experimental method with the pattern of pretest-posttest control group design. The subject of this research is 20 students of grade X MIA 7 MAN 2 ModelPekanbaru which have low positive thinking. The technique of data analyzing in this research use three formulas, namely the formula of Wilcoxon Experiment, Spearman Rank Experimentand Man Whitney Experiment. Based on the hypothesis experiment by applying SPSS 16.0, it is obtained that the value of sig. (2-tailed) is 0.023. Due to the fact that the value of sig. (2-tailed) fewer than the α value (0.023< 0.05),thus it can be concluded that “There is positive impact that significant in giving group counseling services to the improvement of students\u27 positive thinking”. The impact of group counseling services in improving students\u27 positive thinking give medium contribution, that is 49,6%

    Communication is a necessity for humans because it is a need to establish a relationship with one another. Therefore, humans are required to skilled in communicating. The desired communication certainly assertive communication so that both parties feel comfortable doing the communication. Furthermore, in this study uses group counseling services as an independent variable (X). The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Guidance Services Group Against Assertive Communication Students SMAN 5 Pekanbaru. This type of research that is in use is a real-experimental with patterns pretest-posttest control group design. The subjects were students of class IX IA which has a low assertive communication numbered 20 people. Based on the results obtained by processing data of significant figures (Asymp. Sig) 0,005 with alpha (α) of 0.05, it can be concluded 0,005 <α (0.05) which means that Ha Ho accepted and rejected, so "There are differences in the level of assertive communication before and after group counseling services. "From the SPSS version 16 obtained a correlation coefficient of 0.691 / r = r2 = 0.47 the 0691 then it can be concluded that the influence of group counseling to students assertive communication is 47%
