DETECTION OF PATHOGENICITY GENES ENCODING ABILITY TO TOXIGENESIS IN ESCHERICHIA COLI ISOLATED FROM THE CHILDREN INTESTINAL BIOTOPE
Shiga toxins (stxs) are the virulence factor of enterohemorrhagic Escherichia coli (EHEC). Shiga toxin-producing Escherichia coli has been recognized as an important food-borne pathogen that causes severe diseases such as a hemolytic uremic syndrome (HUS). Provides information about the species composition of the major opportunistic organisms that inhabit this biotope. Using polymerase chain reaction (PCR) 96 strains of E. coli were examined for the presence of genes stx1 and stx2 coding the ability to toxigenesis. They were isolated from the children with functional disorders of the gastro-intestinal tract. Both pathogenicity genes present in the genome of E. coli with normal enzyme activity more often (stx1 in 24,2 % of genomes, stx2 in 9,1 %). The presence of stx1 and stx2 genes in different biochemical variants of E. coli allows to ascertain the fact of presence of a potentially pathogenicity reservoir in non-pathogenic forms of E. coli. Intestinal microflora is integral part of each individual. Further studying of its functions, the states interfering qualitative and quantitative composition of microorganisms, colonizing human gastrointestinal tract, as well as the pathogenic potential
MICROBIOLOGICAL CHARACTERIZATION OF INTESTINAL BIOTOPE IN CHILDREN WITH ALLERGIC DISEASES
The results of bacteriological examination of scatological material from children with allergic diseases (atopic dermatitis, bronchial asthma combined with allergic rhinitis, dermal and respiratory syndrome, allergic rhinitis) in Irkutsk are presented. The study involved 62 patients aged from 1 year to 17 years. Significant deviations from the microecological norm were revealed: of lactic acid bacteria — 75,8 %, while the number of bifidobacteria was reduced in 58 % of patients. The most frequently identified opportunistic bacteria were S. aureus (24,2 %) and K. pneumoniae (14,5 %)
VAGINAL MICROECOLOGY IN WOMEN WITH THE NON-SPECIFIC GENITAL INFLAMMATORY DISEASES AND REPRODUCTIVE FUNCTION DISORDERS
We conducted the microbiological examination of vaginal microbiota in 324 women with non-specific inflammatory diseases of the genital tract and with reproductive dysfunction. According the condition of microecological balance of indigenous microflora (lactobacilli concentration) of women we have identified three types of vaginal microbiota: "normocenosis", " dysbiosis", "deep dysbiosis" We marked deficiency oflactobacilli in every fourth women (28%) with infertility and miscarriage, and deep deficit in every second (53% in the third group) - sharp depression of the indigenous microbiota and its replacement by opportunistic (facultative anaerobic and obligate anaerobic), what indicates microecological trouble in the vaginal biotope and can be one of the causes of infectious and inflammatory diseases of genitals and other reproductive disorders. It was shown that the dominant microorganisms of pathogenic microbiota (UPM) of inflammatory diseases in women are coagulase-negative staphylococci (CNS), fungi of genus Candida, Escherihia coli and Enterococcus spp. During the analysis of UPM representatives material of groups with "normocenosis", "dysbiosis" and "deep dysbiosis" an important microecological indicator was calculated which characterizing microbiocaenosis as a whole - index of species richness (ISR) - the average number of species in the composition
IZOENZYME STRUCTURE OF POPULATIONS OF TICKS IXODES PERSULCATUS SCHULZE (ACARI: IXODIDAE) IN RECREATION AREAS OF IRKUTSK CITY
Allozyme structure of the population of ticks Ixodes persulcatus in 8 enzyme systems is shown in two samples of ticks from the recreational areas in suburbs of Irkutsk. From the total of 13 loci, which encode these enzymes, eight were polymorphic. Based on allozyme analysis of populations of mites, it is found that most of them show intrapopulation heterogeneity and. the lack of difference between the two populations from different foci. A similar pattern may indicate a large rate of migration of genes between populations and. their close relatives
SPECIES AND GENETIC VARIETY OF TICK INFECTIONS PATHOGENS ON THE TERRITORY OF THE EASTERN SIBERIA
The article sums up long-term, researches of studying of species and genetic variety of tick infections pathogens in combined, natural focuses of the Eastern Siberia. The results of the research testify to the high genetic variety of regional population, of tick-borne encephalitis virus that is represented, by the strains of Far-Eastern, West, Ural-Siberian genotypes, the strains of the group 886 and. 178-79. Infection of Ixodidae by the next pathogens: B. garinii, B. afzelii, R. sibirica, R. raoultii (генотипы. R. sp. DnS14, R. sp. DnS28), E. muris, A. phagocytophilum и Candidatus «Neoehrlichia mikurensis» was determined
