Searching for more active, more selective and less toxic compounds are the main targets of cancer researchs. Nasturtium officinale L. has been used for a long time as a food and medicinal plant widely distrubuted areas of world for ages.Main therapeutic effect of plant is because of rich essential nutrients as well as non-essential health-promoting phytochemicals phenolics and glucosinolates. The plant has antiviral, antiinflammatory,diuretic, expectorant, anti-diabetic, hepatoprotective, antihyperlipidemic and anticancer properties. The aim of this study is to review the Nasturtium officinale L. compounds and search for their effects against various cancer cell lines
