    Clinicopathological study of patients with pancytopenia

    Background: Pancytopenia is due to bone marrow failure characterized by anemia, leukopenia, and thrombocytopenia. It a common hematological disorder. Low blood counts in the bone marrow failure disease result from deficient hematopoiesis. Marrow damage and dysfunction also may be secondary to infection, inflammation, or cancer. Pancytopenia has an extensive differential diagnosis and it can result from damage to bone marrow destruction of preformed blood cells peripherally with increased reticulocyte count. Aim of the study were to study the different etiological conditions and clinical features of pancytopenia in rural medical college.Methods: This study has been conducted in the department of general medicine in association with the pathology department and between March 2019 to February 2020, 45 patients were included in this study. males were 27 and females were 18. The age group is between 20 years and 60 years. 2 ml of anticoagulant blood send for HB% total count, platelet count, packed cell volume, and RBC indices.Results: The total no. of patients included in this study were 45 among these 45 patients, males were 27, and females were 18. The common age group is between 20 and 60 years and the common causes of aplastic anemia in our study are megaloblastic anemia.Conclusions: Pancytopenia is a common hematological problem in India. In our study megaloblastic anemia is the most common cause of pancytopenia females are affected during pregnancy. So, periodical clinically examined and investigations may reduce the incidence. of further research with a large sample size and meticulous investigations required to replicate the finding of the study

    Theory of the Three Dimensional Quantum Hall Effect in Graphite

    We predict the existence of a three dimensional quantum Hall effect plateau in a graphite crystal subject to a magnetic field. The plateau has a Hall conductivity quantized at 4e21c0\frac{4e^2}{\hbar} \frac{1}{c_0} with c0c_0 the c-axis lattice constant. We analyze the three-dimensional Hofstadter problem of a realistic tight-binding Hamiltonian for graphite, find the gaps in the spectrum, and estimate the critical value of the magnetic field above which the Hall plateau appears. When the Fermi level is in the bulk Landau gap, Hall transport occurs through the appearance of chiral surface states. We estimate the magnetic field necessary for the appearance of the three dimensional quantum Hall Effect to be 15.415.4 T for electron carriers and 7.07.0 T for hole carriers.Comment: Several new references adde

    In Mobile Ad hoc Networks congestion control and prevention are demanding because of network node mobility and dynamic topology. Congestion occurs primarily due to the large traffic volume in the case of data flow because the rate of inflow of data traffic is higher than the rate of data packets on the node. This alteration in sending rate results in routing delays and low throughput. The Rate control is a significant concern in streaming applications, especially in wireless networks. The TCP friendly rate control method is extensively recognized as a rate control mechanism for wired networks, which is effective in minimizing packet loss (PL) in the event of congestion. In this paper, we propose a routing delay prediction based on PL and Explicit Delay Acknowledgement (EDA) mechanism for data rate and congestion control in MANET to control data rate to minimize the loss of packets and improve the throughput.     AbstractSoftware reuse is the process of building software applications that make use of formerly developed software components. In this paper, we explain the benefits that can be obtained from using statistical procedures for prescribing medicines, especially in rural areas, which have limited resources available on hand. It should be noted that although the expert systems were successful in research, they never dominated the market when actual patient treatment was considered. The proposed methodology is compared with the categorical clustering technique. The Fenton and Melton Coupling Metric is considered for the evaluation of the statistic model.     Operationalizing FSM regulations at city level: a case study of Warangal, India

    Warangal is the first city in India to introduce and operationalize Faecal Sludge Management (FSM) regulation. Evidence based advocacy, leadership at city level, citizen awareness campaigns, capacity building of stakeholders particularly the mechanised desludging operators, extensive use of information and communication technology (ICT) tools for monitoring have played an important role in operationalizing the regulation. The City government through FSM regulation has successfully introduced : a) empanelment and training of masons (as toilet builders) to ensure toilets are built as per design principles, b) site inspection by the sanitation team prior to issuance of building plan approval, c) licences to operate mechanised desludging and service level agreement with private operators d) usage of personal protective equipment by the desludging operators e) a mobile app in vernacular language for record keeping on desludging f) a dedicated helpline for citizens to seek support on FSM operations and g) awareness campaigns on safe FSM and scheduled desludging. Lessons from Warangal are being scaled up through introduction of State level FSM regulation and operational guidelines
