    Effect of Exercise Intervention on Social Ability of ADHD Children

    The incidence rate of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is 7.25% in China. The main symptoms are attention deficit laxation, behavior impulsivity, social disorder and so on. Children aged 3-6 are in the golden age of social ability development. Therefore, if ADHD children at this age do not get correct and effective interventions, it will have a far-reaching impact on their social ability. In order to explore new intervention measures for ADHD children and improve their social ability, this study will intervene ADHD children through sports intervention, so as to provide theoretical and experimental basis for improving their social ability. A total of 12 hyperactivity prone children aged 3-6 years were recruited in this study. The subjects were intervened through engaging in KDL sports game, parent-child homework and parent-child carnival for four months. We used Achenbach children\u27s behavior scale (CBCL) to evaluate children\u27s social ability from activity ability, social ability and learning. In order to reduce the experimental error, before using the CBCL scale, the researchers have been trained in learning and understanding the specific rules and scoring methods of the CBCL scale to ensure that evaluated data have good reliability and validity. After data collection, SPSS 23.0 was used to conduct statistical analysis on the data. The results showed that after the intervention, the ADHD children significantly improved their social ability from the baseline to the post-test (Tsocial = -1.39, psocial = 0.01 \u3c 0.05). However, the results showed that there was no significant difference in children\u27s activity ability and learning over time (Tactivity = 0.42, pactivity = 0.533 \u3e 0.05; Tlearning = -0.12, plearning = 0.756 \u3e 0.05). Exercise intervention can effectively improve the social ability of ADHD children, which is more harmonious with their peers and more able to communicate with their families. We suggest to carry out exercise intervention for more children with ADHD and to integrate behavioral therapy with multi-directional intervention

    Effects of waste milk feeding on rumen fermentation and bacterial community of pre-weaned and post-weaned dairy calves

    The objective of this study was to investigate the effect of waste milk with antibiotic residue on rumen fermentation and rumen bacterial composition of dairy calves during pre-weaned and post-weaned periods. A total of 24 Holstein male calves (43.4 ± 0.93 kg body weight, mean ± standard error) were allocated into four blocks based on birth date. Dairy calves were supplied 100% milk replacer (MR, n = 8), 50% milk replacer mixed with 50% waste milk (MM, n = 8), or 100% waste milk (WM, n = 8). Ruminal samples were collected at 49 and 63 days of age and then subjected to determinations of pH value, volatile fatty acids (VFA), ammonia nitrogen (NH3–N) and 16S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing. The results showed that feeding WM had no effect on the pH value, the concentrations of VFA (acetic acid, propionic acid, butyric acid, isovaleric acid, valeric acid), and NH3–N in dairy calves compared to feeding MR. However, from 49 to 63 days of age, the pH value (p < 0.001) was significantly increased, while the levels of total VFA (p = 0.004), acetic acid (p = 0.01), propionic acid (p = 0.003) and valeric acid (p < 0.001) were significantly decreased. For rumen microorganisms, there was no differences in bacterial diversity among the treatments. But the relative abundance of Veillonellaceae was significantly lower (p = 0.05) in the calves fed WM than that from MR group at 49 days of age; however, no difference was detected at 63 days of age. Feeding WM to calves tended to reduce family Veillonellaceae and genus Olsenella in the rumen at 49 days of age (p = 0.049). Analysis of temporal changes in rumen bacteria based on alpha-diversity and beta-diversity as well as the microbial relative abundances did not exhibit any difference. In addition, relative abundances of Clostridia_UCG-014, Prevotella, Syntrophococcus, Eubacterium_nodatum_group, Pseudoramibacter and Solobacterium were correlated with rumen pH value and the concentrations of TVFA, propionic acid, isovaleric acid, valeric acid and NH3–N. In conclusion, compare to MR, calves supplied with WM had little changes on the rumen pH value, NH3–N or VFAs contents. Additionally, limited effects could be found on rumen microbiota in the calves fed WM. However, further studies needed to explore if there exist any long-term effects of early-life rumen microbiota modulation on dairy cows

    A CsI hodoscope on CSHINE for Bremsstrahlung {\gamma}-rays in Heavy Ion Reactions

    Bremsstrahlung γ\gamma production in heavy ion reactions at Fermi energies carries important physical information including the nuclear symmetry energy at supra-saturation densities. In order to detect the high energy Bremsstrahlung γ\gamma rays, a hodoscope consisting of 15 CsI(Tl) crystal read out by photo multiplier tubes has been built, tested and operated in experiment. The resolution, efficiency and linear response of the units to γ\gamma rays have been studied using radioactive source and (p,γ)({\rm p},\gamma) reactions. The inherent energy resolution of 1.6%+2%/Eγ1/21.6\%+2\%/E_{\gamma}^{1/2} is obtained. Reconstruction method has been established through Geant 4 simulations, reproducing the experimental results where comparison can be made. Using the reconstruction method developed, the whole efficiency of the hodoscope is about 2.6×10−42.6\times 10^{-4} against the 4π4\pi emissions at the target position, exhibiting insignificant dependence on the energy of incident γ\gamma rays above 20 MeV. The hodoscope is operated in the experiment of 86^{86}Kr + 124^{124}Sn at 25 MeV/u, and a full γ\gamma energy spectrum up to 80 MeV has been obtained.Comment: 9 pages, 19 figure

    Probing high-momentum component in nucleon momentum distribution by neutron-proton bremsstrahlung {\gamma}-rays in heavy ion reactions

    The high momentum tail (HMT) of nucleons, as a signature of the short-range correlations in nuclei, has been investigated by the high-energy bremsstrahlung γ\gamma rays produced in 86^{86}Kr + 124^{124}Sn at 25 MeV/u. The energetic photons are measured by a CsI(Tl) hodoscope mounted on the spectrometer CSHINE. The energy spectrum above 30 MeV can be reproduced by the IBUU model calculations incorporating the photon production channel from npnp process in which the HMTs of nucleons is considered. A non-zero HMT ratio of about 15%15\% is favored by the data. The effect of the capture channel np→dγnp \to d\gamma is demonstrated

    Revisit to the yield ratio of triton and 3^3He as an indicator of neutron-rich neck emission

    The neutron rich neck zone created in heavy ion reaction is experimentally probed by the production of the A=3A=3 isobars. The energy spectra and angular distributions of triton and 3^3He are measured with the CSHINE detector in 86^{86}Kr +208^{208}Pb reactions at 25 MeV/u. While the energy spectrum of 3^{3}He is harder than that of triton, known as "3^{3}He-puzzle", the yield ratio R(t/3He)R({\rm t/^3He}) presents a robust rising trend with the polar angle in laboratory. Using the fission fragments to reconstruct the fission plane, the enhancement of out-plane R(t/3He)R({\rm t/^3He}) is confirmed in comparison to the in-plane ratios. Transport model simulations reproduce qualitatively the experimental trends, but the quantitative agreement is not achieved. The results demonstrate that a neutron rich neck zone is formed in the reactions. Further studies are called for to understand the clustering and the isospin dynamics related to neck formation

    The sustainability of life on Earth is under increasing threat due to humaninduced climate change. This perilous change in the Earth's climate is caused by increases in carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, primarily due to emissions associated with burning fossil fuels. Over the next two to three decades, the effects of climate change, such as heatwaves, wildfires, droughts, storms, and floods, are expected to worsen, posing greater risks to human health and global stability. These trends call for the implementation of mitigation and adaptation strategies. Pollution and environmental degradation exacerbate existing problems and make people and nature more susceptible to the effects of climate change. In this review, we examine the current state of global climate change from different perspectives. We summarize evidence of climate change in Earth’s spheres, discuss emission pathways and drivers of climate change, and analyze the impact of climate change on environmental and human health. We also explore strategies for climate change mitigation and adaptation and highlight key challenges for reversing and adapting to global climate change

    We summarize initial results for high-energy neutrino counterpart searches coinciding with gravitational-wave events in LIGO/Virgo\u27s GWTC-2 catalog using IceCube\u27s neutrino triggers. We did not find any statistically significant high-energy neutrino counterpart and derived upper limits on the time-integrated neutrino emission on Earth as well as the isotropic equivalent energy emitted in high-energy neutrinos for each event
