Interlayer Coupling of Co/NM/FM(NiFe and Co) Nano-Sandwich Films
AbstractCu/Co, Cu/NiFe, Ta/NiFe bilayers and Co/Cu/Co, Co/Cu/NiFe, Co/Ta/NiFe sandwich films were deposited by a magnetron sputtering method. Magnetic properties were evaluated by VSM and spin valve magnet oresistance was investigated by a four-probe method to study the interlayer coupling of the two magnetic layers. It has been found that the interlayer coupling depended not only on the layer thickness of the nonmagnetic spacer but also on the nature of the spacer. The interlayer coupling was reduced as the spacer layer thickness increased. The result was consistent with those from observations of the magnetic domain for the trilayers by means of Lorentz Electron Microscope. The trilayers with Cu spacer layer have shown a stronger coupling than those with Ta spacer layer
The Study of Dynamic Monitor of Rice Drought in Jiangxi Province with Remote Sensing
AbstractMODIS sensor has a high temporal resolution, spectral resolution, and moderate spatial resolution. The data products are widely used in Large-scale and long period dynamic monitoring of drought. This paper focuses on characters of farming rice dominated in Jiangxi province, and analysis on remote sensing monitoring model and drought monitoring indicators which selection the MODIS data products and drought information related from 2000-2008. Established standard for classification of drought in Jiangxi province, and verified instances of 2003 drought in Jiangxi. This study may have a certain significance to agricultural drought monitoring based on rice planting in southern China, because the correspondencematch between the selected TD indices and cloud cover with precipitation and daily maximum temperature evolution curve
Finite-Size Scaling of the High-Dimensional Ising Model in the Loop Representation
Besides its original spin representation, the Ising model is known to have
the Fortuin-Kasteleyn (FK) bond and loop representations, of which the former
was recently shown to exhibit two upper critical dimensions .
Using a lifted worm algorithm, we determine the critical coupling as for , which significantly improves over the previous
results, and then study critical geometric properties of the loop-Ising
clusters on tori for spatial dimensions to 7. We show that, as the spin
representation, the loop Ising model has only one upper critical dimension at
. However, sophisticated finite-size scaling (FSS) behaviors, like two
length scales, two configuration sectors and two scaling windows, still exist
as the interplay effect of the Gaussian fixed point and complete-graph
asymptotics. Moreover, using the Loop-Cluster algorithm, we provide an
intuitive understanding of the emergence of the percolation-like upper critical
dimension in the FK-Ising model. As a consequence, a unified physical
picture is established for the FSS behaviors in all the three representations
of the Ising model above .Comment: 11 pages, 12 figure
Web Mining-Based Objective Metrics for Measuring Website Navigatability
Web site design is critical to the success of electronic commerce and digital government. Effective design requires appropriate evaluation methods and measurement metrics. The current research examines Web site navigability, a fundamental structural aspect of Web site design. We define Web site navigability as the extent to which a visitor can use a Web site’s hyperlink structure to locate target contents successfully in an easy and efficient manner. We propose a systematic Web site navigability evaluation method built on Web mining techniques. To complement the subjective self-reported metrics commonly used by previous research, we develop three objective metrics for measuring Web site navigability on the basis of the Law of Surfing. We illustrate the use of the proposed methods and measurement metrics with two large Web sites
1-(2-Fluorobenzyl)-1-(2-fluorobenzyloxy)urea
In the title hydroxyurea derivative, C15H14F2N2O2, the dihedral angle between the two benzene rings is 48.64 (19)°. The urea group forms dihedral angles of 48.1 (2) and 79.2 (2)° with the two benzene rings. In the crystal, inversion dimers linked by pairs of N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds occur, and further N—H⋯O links lead to chains of molecules
Effect of magnetic field correlation length on the gamma-ray pulsar halo morphology under anisotropic diffusion
Anisotropic diffusion is one of the potential interpretations for the
morphology of the Geminga pulsar halo. It interprets the observed
slow-diffusion phenomenon through a geometric effect, assuming the mean
magnetic field direction around Geminga is closely aligned with the line of
sight toward it. However, this direction should not extend further than the
correlation length of the turbulent magnetic field , which could be
pc or less. We first revisit the scenario and show that the halo
asymmetry predicted by this scenario is mainly contributed by the electrons
located beyond the ``core" section around Geminga, which has a length of
pc. Then, considering the directional variation of the magnetic field beyond
the core section, we take one magnetic field configuration as an example to
investigate the possible halo morphology. The predicted morphology has some
different features compared to the scenario. The current
experiments may already be able to test these features. In addition, we use a
semi-analytical method to solve the anisotropic propagation equation, which
offers significant convenience compared to numerical approaches.Comment: 15 pages, 7 figure
