In an Attempt to Introduce Long-range Interactions into Small-world Networks
Distinguishing the long-range bonds with the regular ones, the critical
temperature of the spin-lattice Guassian model built on two typical Small-world
Networks (SWNs) is studied. The results show much difference from the classical
case, and thus may induce some more accurate discussion on the critical
properties of the spin-lattice systems combined with the SWNs.Comment: 4 pages, 3 figures, 18 referenc
Thermodynamical quantities of lattice full QCD from an efficient method
I extend to QCD an efficient method for lattice gauge theory with dynamical
fermions. Once the eigenvalues of the Dirac operator and the density of states
of pure gluonic configurations at a set of plaquette energies (proportional to
the gauge action) are computed, thermodynamical quantities deriving from the
partition function can be obtained for arbitrary flavor number, quark masses
and wide range of coupling constants, without additional computational cost.
Results for the chiral condensate and gauge action are presented on the
lattice at flavor number , 1, 2, 3, 4 and many quark masses and coupling
constants. New results in the chiral limit for the gauge action and its
correlation with the chiral condensate, which are useful for analyzing the QCD
chiral phase structure, are also provided.Comment: Latex, 11 figures, version accepted for publicatio
Effects of hadronic loops on the direct CP violation of
It is well known that the final state interaction plays an important role in
the decays of -meson. The contribution of the final state interaction which
is supposed to be long-distance effects, to the concerned processes can
interfere with that of the short-distance effects produced via the tree and/or
loop diagrams at quark-gluon level. The interference may provide a source for
the direct CP violation in the process . We find that a typical value of when the
final state interaction effect is taken into account can be about -22% which is
different from that without the final state interaction effect. Therefore, when
we extract information on CP violation from the data which will be available at
LHCb and the new experiments in -factories, the contribution from the final
state interaction must be included. This study may be crucial for searching new
physics in the future.Comment: 15 pages, 3 figures, 2 tables. More discussion adde
Categorizing resonances X(1835), X(2120) and X(2370) in the pseudoscalar meson family
Inspired by the newly observed three resonances X(1835), X(2120) and X(2370),
in this work we systematically study the two-body strong decays and double pion
decays of , and
by categorizing , , X(2120) and
X(2370) as the radial excitations of . Our
numerical results indicate the followings: (1) The obtained theoretical strong
decay widths of three pseudoscalar states , and
are consistent with the experimental measurements; (2) X(1835)
could be the second radial excitation of ; (3) X(2120) and
X(2370) can be explained as the third and fourth radial excitations of
, respectively.Comment: 16 pages, 15 figures, 3 tables. Accepted for publication in Phys.
