The Empirical Research about the Impact of Seller Reputation on C2C Online Trading: The Case of Taobao

    Get PDF
With the improvement of China\u27s Internet penetration and a shift in consumption consciousness, user scale and market size of online trading reached a new height, and C2C e-commerce has the most rapid development. As the seller and buyer of online transaction in a state of isolation in time and space, there is serious information asymmetry. So the reputation problems that exist in the online trading have become the concern of many people. The seller reputation can evaluate the past behavior of seller. Hence, the higher reputation can reduce the potential risk of the transaction and increase the transaction tendencies and actions of buyers. Due to the biggest market share of the C2C e-commerce platform in China and a higher awareness of user groups, Taobao.com is selected as research subject. We collected 1379 useful seller reputation information from five merchandise categories. Then, hypotheses about the influence of online sales volume and price were put forward, and the research model was established. Next, correlation analysis and linear regression analysis was employed to test hypotheses and the research model in the C2C online trading environment. The results showed that reputation rating and reputation score has a significant positive effect on sales volume and price, and there is a negative impact on the sales of the existence of violation. Match degree of description, seller attitude and delivery speed in the dynamic rating have a greater impact on sales price than volume. Match degree of description and delivery speed has a promoting role. Freight borne by the seller has a positive impact on sales volume

The title binuclear complex, [Co2(C8H3NO6)2(C10H8N2)3(H2O)6], has been synthesized hydrothermally from 3-nitrophthalic acid (H2NPA), Co(NO3)2·6H2O and 4,4′-bipyridine (4,4′-bipy). The molecule of the complex occupies a special position on an inversion centre. The CoII atom has a slightly distorted octahedral environment formed by two N atoms from two 4,4′-bipy ligands, one carboxylate O atom from NPA, and three O atoms of water molecules. An extensive O—H⋯O and N—H⋯O hydrogen-bonding system links molecules of the complex into a three-dimensional network

Scalar products of the open XYZ chain with non-diagonal boundary terms

With the help of the F-basis provided by the Drinfeld twist or factorizing F-matrix of the eight-vertex solid-on-solid (SOS) model, we obtain the determinant representations of the scalar products of Bethe states for the open XYZ chain with non-diagonal boundary terms. By taking the on shell limit, we obtain the determinant representations (or Gaudin formula) of the norms of the Bethe states.Comment: Latex file, 28 page

Reconstruction of Hematopoietic Inductive Microenvironment after Transplantation of VCAM-1-Modified Human Umbilical Cord Blood Stromal Cells

The hematopoietic inductive microenvironment (HIM) is where hematopoietic stem/progenitor cells grow and develop. Hematopoietic stromal cells were the key components of the HIM. In our previous study, we had successfully cultured and isolated human cord blood–derived stromal cells (HUCBSCs) and demonstrated that they could secret hemopoietic growth factors such as GM-CSF, TPO, and SCF. However, it is still controversial whether HUCBSCs can be used for reconstruction of HIM. In this study, we first established a co-culture system of HUCBSCs and cord blood CD34+ cells and then determined that using HUCBSCs as the adherent layer had significantly more newly formed colonies of each hematopoietic lineage than the control group, indicating that HUCBSCs had the ability to promote the proliferation of hematopoietic stem cells/progenitor cells. Furthermore, the number of colonies was significantly higher in vascular cell adhesion molecule-1 (VCAM-1)-modified HUCBSCs, suggesting that the ability of HUCBSCs in promoting the proliferation of hematopoietic stem cells/progenitor cells was further enhanced after having been modified with VCAM-1. Next, HUCBSCs were infused into a radiation-damaged animal model, in which the recovery of hematopoiesis was observed. The results demonstrate that the transplanted HUCBSCs were “homed in” to bone marrow and played roles in promoting the recovery of irradiation-induced hematopoietic damage and repairing HIM. Compared with the control group, the HUCBSC group had significantly superior effectiveness in terms of the recovery time for hemogram and myelogram, CFU-F, CFU-GM, BFU-E, and CFU-Meg. Such differences were even more significant in VCAM-1-modified HUCBSCs group. We suggest that HUCBSCs are able to restore the functions of HIM and promote the recovery of radiation-induced hematopoietic damage. VCAM-1 plays an important role in supporting the repair of HIM damage

Domain wall partition function of the eight-vertex model with a non-diagonal reflecting end

With the help of the Drinfeld twist or factorizing F-matrix for the eight-vertex SOS model, we obtain the explicit determinant expression of the partition function of the eight-vertex model with a generic non-diagonal reflecting end and domain wall boundary condition. Our result shows that, contrary to the eight-vertex model without a reflection end, the partition function can be expressed as a single determinant.Comment: Latex file, 25 pages, 4 figures. arXiv admin note: substantial text overlap with arXiv:1107.562

Annexin gene family in Spirometra mansoni (Cestoda: Diphyllobothriidae) and its phylogenetic pattern among Platyhelminthes of medical interest

The plerocercoid larvae of Spirometra mansoni are etiological agents of human and animal sparganosis. Annexins are proteins with important roles in parasites. However, our knowledge of annexins in S. mansoni is still inadequate. In this study, 18 new members of the Annexin (ANX) family were characterized in S. mansoni. The clustering analysis demonstrated that all the SmANXs were divided into two main classes, consistent with the patterns of conserved motif organization. The 18 SmANXs were detected at all developmental stages (plerocercoid, adult, and egg) and displayed ubiquitous but highly variable expression patterns in all tissues/organs studied. The representative member rSmANX18 was successfully cloned and expressed. The protein was immunolocalized in the tegument and parenchyma of the plerocercoid and in the tegument, parenchyma, uterus and egg shell of adult worms. The recombinant protein can bind phospholipids with high affinity in a Ca2+-dependent manner, shows high anticoagulant activity and combines with FITC to recognize apoptotic cells. Annexin gene polymorphism and conservative core motif permutation were found in both cestodes and trematodes. SmANXs also revealed high genetic diversity among Platyhelminthes of medical interest. Our findings lay a foundation for further studies on the biological functions of ANXs in S. mansoni as well as other taxa in which ANXs occur
