VALIDITY OF A MAKER-BASED LOCATOR FOR MEASURING IN VIVO THREEDIMENSIONAL SCAPULAR STATIC POSES USING STEREOPHOTOGRAMMETRY
The study aimed to (1) develop a marker-based scapular locator for measuring scapular poses and (2) to design an in vivo experimental procedure for this static marker-based measurement method to decrease measurement errors, and (3) to validate this scapular locator and the experimental procedure. Six young male adults were implanted into the spine of the scapula with two bone-pins that were attached with a cluster of four retroreflective markers (bone markers). The scapular poses were measured simultaneously using the developed scapular locator and the bone markers. The results showed that very high validity for scapular rotations and for the acromial angle (AA), the root of spine (RS) and the inferior angle (IA) of the scapular translation were achieved. Two main reasons contributed to the results: (1) the adjustable scapular locator and (2) careful palpation of the bony landmarks over the scapula
Different Spontaneous Pulmonary Metastasis Inhibitions against Lewis Lung Carcinoma in Mice by Bisdioxopiperazine Compounds of Different Treatment Schedules
Spontaneous neoplasm metastasis, a fatalist pathological feature of cancer, is a long-evolving, multi-steps process that can now only be treated or controlled by drugs or immuno-modulators. As we have previously hypothesized, each drug or immuno-modulator might act differently within various stages of a metastasis. Therefore any researches helping to determine these differences will be beneficial for updating therapeutics for metastasis. In this work, we have testified this hypothesis by using a series of well-known anti-metastatic agents – Bisdioxopiperazine compounds
A new contribution to Megasporoporia sensu lato: Six new species and three new combinations
Megasporoporia sensu lato has recently been intensively studied in China and South America, and four independent clades representing four genera have been recognized phylogenetically. In this study, more samples, mostly from subtropical and tropical Asia, Oceania, and East Africa, are analyzed. A phylogeny based on a 4-gene dataset of sequences (ITS + nLSU + mtSSU + tef) has confirmed the presence of four genera in Megasporoporia sensu lato: Jorgewrightia, Mariorajchenbergia, Megasporia, and Megasporoporia sensu stricto. Six new species, Jorgewrightia austroasiana, Jorgewrightia irregularis, Jorgewrightia tenuis, Mariorajchenbergia subleucoplaca, Megasporia olivacea, and Megasporia sinuosa, are described based on morphology and phylogenetic analysis. Three new combinations are proposed, viz. Jorgewrightia kirkii, Mariorajchenbergia epitephra, and Mariorajchenbergia leucoplaca. To date, 36 species of Megasporoporia sensu lato are accepted and an identification key to these species is provided. In addition, the identification of Dichomitus amazonicus, Dichomitus cylindrosporus, and Megasporoporia hexagonoides is discussed
Multi-objective optimization of parameters and location of passive vibration isolation system excited by clamped thin plate foundation
This paper reports a novel optimization strategy combined with artificial intelligence for parameters and location design of precision equipment and provides a broader view for traditional passive vibration isolation. It also considers "precision equipment-vibration isolators-thin plate foundation" as a composite passive vibration isolation system and the clamped thin plate. The vibration isolation system is considered as four-point support, and the displacement amplitude transmissibility from the thin plate to precision equipment is derived and based on the analysis of influencing factors of transmissibility; subsequently, multi-objective optimization of the composite system is performed. A novel swarm intelligence multi-objective optimization method—a multi-objective particle swarm optimization (MOPSO) algorithm is adopted in this paper which can achieve a global optimal solution and by selecting the desired solution from an equivalence relation, the whole Pareto set can be avoided. The maximum and variance of the four transmitted peak displacements are simultaneously considered as fitness functions, and the purpose is to reduce the amplitude of the multi-peak isolation system, and in the meantime, to allow the plate to be uniformly vibrated as far as possible. Moreover, the presented idea is validated numerically, and the location research of the precision equipment mounted on the plate is also conducted
The Calculation of the Perturbative Expansion of Wilson Loops on Lattice
We introduce an approach to expand gauge-invariant Wilson operators on
lattice. This approach is based on non-abelian Stokes theorem and overcomes
some shortage of some former methods. It is also suitable for expanding any
Wilson operators on lattice.Comment: 9 pages and 4 figure
