    Abstract – The engine room is one of the most critical compartment that have significant level of risk. There are so many equipment, device, and environment considered have potential caused of fire.  Those of the potential component could rise probability of fire.Therefore safety operation on engine room should become as a main aspect for the engine room operation.  Considered on environment issue, fire suppression medium Halocarbon HCFC Blend A (AF11E) would become as prospective fire suppression medium on the future. Application of the HCFC medium has been applied to extinguish fire on industrial control panel room (factory, plant). Other applications is on traffic control room in the airport. The application of the medium is not common on ship engine room. This research discusses the performance evaluation of fire suppression system piping using the fire suppression medium Halocarbon HCFC Blend A in the ship engine room. The pipe sizes used are 4-inch discharge pipe, 3-inch main pipe, 2-inch separator pipe, and 1-inch branch pipe. The number of outlet nozzles used was 49, the required extinguishing agent supply amount was 1126.916 kg for 70 kg bottle contents, and 15 extinguishing agent cylinders were required

    Abstract - Updating the Waste Water Treatment Plant facilities at the factory is carried out by adding and building utilities, one of which is a new pipeline. In its implementation, uncertainties will inevitably arise which can lead to risks. Risk is an uncertain event that can positively or negatively impact the project. Therefore it is necessary to carry out research in the form of identifying, assessing, and analyzing the risks that may occur in the project and planning the response to these risks. This study aims to determine how big the risks that occur in the project are and the response to the dominant risks in the project. The research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 5 respondents. The risk assessment analysis method uses the Severity Index (SI) and the Probability-Impact Matrix. The results showed 41 identified risk variables consisting of 1 commercial risk, 7 external risks, 5 management risks, 6 organizational risks, and 22 technical risks. The risk variables that have been identified are reviewed for their impact on aspects of the project schedule, project targets, safety, and costs. The results were then carried out a risk assessment and obtained 8 high risk and 33 medium risk. Of the 41 risks, there are 25 risks that are responded to by being reduced, 15 by being avoided, and 1 by being accepted

In the design phase of the piping project, technicians use AutoCAD Plant 3D asa media drawing or depiction of the piping system design being worked on. AutoCAD Plant 3D makes iteasy to design and use items, equipment, and the materials used are available in options so that the billof materials is calculated automatically. Then after the design stage, there is the stage of preparingschedules and work activities after the design activities are carried out. The arrangement of schedulesand work activities can be represented by the S-Curve. For contractors who handle many projects, withthe condition of the amount of data that must be managed in the presentation of work schedules andactivities on the S-Curve, it takes more and less efficient time for manual management.
