[eng] Joining the Common Market, british farmers are eager to defend their prices and incomes and their representation - In last year « Annual Price Review » including data prom the Farm Management Survey, the development of production is compared by the economists with the evolution of incomes in this sector : it gives an idea of British agricultural and financial problems. . From 60 to 70 the net production of British agriculture has increased in about 10 % i. e an annual average of 2 %. . During the same period the farmers' incomes have decreased in about 5 % i. e an annual average of 1 %. The same farmers have received no profit from the increase of their productivity (+ 7 % per year). Though they have accept to submit to the Common Policy, they mean to play an active part in Europe !
