Effectiveness of Foreign Refugee Handling Services by Kupang Regional Government with the International Organization for Migration (IOM)
This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the service for handling the refugee from abroad in Kupang by the Regional Government of Kupang in collaboration with IOM after the delivery from the Kupang Immigration Detention Center and to examine the factors that cause the ineffectiveness of the foreign refugee handling services. This study uses qualitative research approach that focuses on analyzing the services for handling refugees from abroad in Kupang based on the concept of good service characteristics. The study found that the implementation of services for handling refugees from abroad in Kupang has not been effective due to: lack of participation by the Kupang Regional Government, lack of maintenance in the facilities and infrastructure in the shelter, lack of human resources officers at the shelter, local government feels not responsible for handling refugees, health services are less responsive, language barriers, Kupang local government does not have a database of refugees from abroad, lack of knowledge on refugee status and human rights enforcement by immigration officers, the reactive attitude of the refugees that reduce the trust of the Kupang Rudenim. In conclusion, the effectiveness of refugees from abroad handling services in Kupang which is managed by the Kupang Regional Government in collaboration with International Organization for Migration (IOM) is still not optimal if judged based on good service indicators
Implementation of Klungkung Regent Regulation Number 15 of 2020 Concerning Guidelines for Grants and Social Assistance in Klungkung Regency
This study examined how the Klungkung regent rule number 15 of 2020 about the guidelines for grants and social assistance in the Klungkung regency is being implemented. Barriers to implementation were identified and methods to overcome them were proposed. Effectiveness, efficiency, sufficiency, equality, responsiveness, and correctness were the six characteristics studied in the execution of the regulation. A descriptive qualitative approach was utilized. The data were obtained through structured interviews and observation. The findings showed that, notwithstanding a few roadblocks, the Klungkung regent regulation number 15 of 2020 regulating guidelines for grants and social assistance in the Klungkung district has been implemented successfully in the administration of grant requests.

THE IMPLEMENTATION OF ORGANIZATIONAL BEHAVIOR AND JOB SATISFACTION FOR THE LEGAL AND HUMAN RESOURCES EMPLOYEES AT GREEN SCHOOL, BALI
This study used a mixed-method comprising of a survey, interview, storing opinions, and sharing experiences with 63 participants. An interpretation was used in collecting the result of answer percentage from the respondents in the questionnaires, interviews, and sharing experiences in group discussion. The research finding showed that there is an issue faced by the employees and there were also responses from the participants concerning the organizational behavior and job satisfaction in the organization obeyed by the employees during their working time
IMPLEMENTASI KEBIJAKAN E-GOVERNMENT PEMBAYARAN PAJAK HOTEL SECARA ONLINE DI KOTA DENPASAR PADA BADAN PENDAPATAN DAERAH KOTA DENPASAR
E-Government sebagai upaya meningkatkan kepatuhan dan kemudahan wajib pajak dalam melaporkan SPTPD dan meminimalisir kontak antara petugas pajak dan Wajib Pajak dalam pembayaran pajak, Badan Pendapatan Daerah Kota Denpasar telah menyediakan fasilitas pelaporan SPTPD dan pembayaran pajak secara online kepada Wajib Pajak berdasarkan pada Peraturan Walikota Denpasar Nomor 16 Tahun 2016 tentang Online System Pembayaran dan Pelaporan Transaksi Pajak Hotel, Pajak Restoran, dan Pajak Hiburan, Kota Denpasar. Sistem pembayaran pajak secara online tersebut telah dilaksanakan sejak tahun 2016 sampai sekarang, dengan mengakses website www.simpadadenpasarkota.go.id. Wajib Pajak dapat melaporkan SPTPD-nya dan membayar pajaknya kapan saja dan dari mana saja. Adapun permasalahan dalam penelitian ini yaitu masih terdapat wajib pajak hotel yang mengalami keterlambatan pembayaran dan pelaporan pajak hotel dikarenakan dalam mendapatkan tanda tangan dari pemilik hotel dan juga disebabkan oleh dana yang seharusnya digunakan untuk pembayaran pajak namun digunakan untuk dana operasional untuk hotel tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini, yaitu metode penelitian kualitatif . Pada penelitian ini diperoleh hasil penelitian yang menunjukkan bahwa pelaporan dan pembayaran pajak hotel di Kota Denpasar dengan menerapkan sistem online dapat dengan baik namun masih belum secara maksimal yang disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor-faktor penghambat dalam penerapan E-Government pada proses pembayaran pajak hotel di kota denpasar. Sedangkan yang menjadi faktor penghambat implementasi E-Government dalam pembayaran pajak Hotel secara online di Kota Denpasar, yaitu (1) tidak semua pegawai badan Pendapatan Daerah Kota Denpasar memahami serta menguasai penggunaan sistem pelaopran dan pembayaran pajak secara online; (2) sosialisasi sistem pajak online belum dilaksanakan secara maksimal dan berkelanjutan; (3) minimnya kepatuhan dan kesadaran wajib pajak dalam pembayaran paja
Malpractice of Election and General Election Success in 2019 Bali Province
Throughout the implementation of elections there are always problems in the process, both of which carry out election malpractice actions, as well as other actions that threaten the general public in voting. The public is not yet fully aware of election activities and their impact. Electoral malpractice reduces the value of democratic elections. This research intends to explain how big the mistakes and cheats that exist during the election took place and how the role of the community to deal with election malpractice. This research uses descriptive analytic method with a qualitative approach. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. This research found two types of malpractice: first, people are not very aware of the types of electoral fraud. Both in terms of alleged money politics, campaigns outside the schedule, mounting banners that were considered negative and provocative. Second, the public still does not know that they have entered the voter list, so that there are voters who do not exercise their voting rights, there are voters who use other people's voting rights, and most voters do not know their choice will increase the percentage of voter participation. THE ANALYSIS OF PRODUCT ATTRIBUTE EFFECT UPON CONSUMER DECISION TO PURCHASE PRODUCTS OF SILVER AND GOLD HANDICRAFTS IN DENPASAR BALI
Bali is one of the main tourist destinations in Indonesia, Bali is very broad and significant implications for the development in the world of business directly with tourism businesses and supporting tourism, the growth and development of handicraft business in Bali. Most markets in Bali handicraft industry is the export market. Development of handicraft business in Bali, make existing companies to compete and be able to take advantage of opportunities that exist in order to survive. Slowly but surely now commodities gold and silver jewelry become new flagship export of handicrafts from Denpasar, the more so after the rupiah was devalued against the dollar. Advantages of gold and silver handicraft products from Denpasar lies in the quality and the design is very nice, unique and interesting, because the jewelry industry generated by household’s crafts hand made. But that still block the development of marketing or export of gold and silver handicrafts, including import duties of raw materials is high enough, not to mention the taxes to be paid as 10% for jewelry making tax, tax for selling to the retailers 10% and 10% tax on consumers. The implementation of Sewakadharma work culture to improve public service quality in Denpasar City, Indonesia
Public service is defined as an activity that serves the necessity of an individual, people, or organization group that has an interest in the organization based on the main requirements and procedures which are determined and intended to fulfill the satisfaction of service recipients. Employee performance management (PM) is frequently marketed as an innovation to improve public sector performance, but it is internationally challenging to execute. The success of service provider organisations (providers) is strongly dependent on the pleasure of the people who receive these services. The Denpasar City government endeavoured to address this issue by introducing the sewakadarma work ethos in the execution of public services. The Sewaka Dharma is a Hindu ideology that prioritises the alignment of one's thoughts, speech, and actions towards the service of promoting harmony among human, natural, and divine values. The objective of this research is to investigate the impact of the sewakadarma work culture on enhancing the standard of public services in Denpasar City. The present study employs descriptive qualitative research methodologies. The results showed that the sewakadarma work culture has been implemented well through the formation of the sewakadarma cadre, the success of the sewakadarma work culture is evidenced by the awards obtained by the Denpasar city government in providing public services
