Analytic Calculation of Neutrino Mass Eigenvalues
Implicaion of the neutrino oscillation search for the neutrino mass square
difference and mixing are discussed. We have considered the effective majorana
mass m_{ee}, related for \beta\beta_{0\nu}decay. We find limits for neutrino
mass eigen value m_{i} in the different neutrino mass spectrum, which explain
the different neutrino data.Comment: 10 page
Psychological flexibility mediates the relation between self-concealment and negative psychological outcomes.
Consisting of two cross-sectional studies, the present study investigated whether psychological flexibility mediates the relations between self-concealment and negative psychological outcomes. Study 1 examined whether psychological flexibility mediates the relations between self-concealment and emotional distress in stressful interpersonal situations. In addition to replicating results of Study 1, Study 2 investigated whether psychological flexibility mediates the relationship between self-concealment and general psychological ill-health. Psychological flexibility was found to mediate the relation between self-concealment and emotional distress in stressful interpersonal settings and to partially mediate the relationship between self-concealment and general psychological ill-health
The effects of cognitive defusion and thought distraction on emotional discomfort and believability of negative self-referential thoughts
Previous research has shown that rapid vocal repetition of a one-word version of negative self-referential thought reduces the stimulus functions (e.g., emotional discomfort and believability) associated with that thought. The present study compares the effects of that defusion strategy with thought distraction and distraction-based experimental control tasks on a negative self-referential thought. Non-clinical undergraduates were randomly assigned to one of three protocols. The cognitive defusion condition reduced the emotional discomfort and believability of negative self-referential thoughts significantly greater than comparison conditions. Favorable results were also found for the defusion technique with participants with elevated depressive symptoms
Phenomenology of Quantum Gravity and its Possible Role in Neutrino Anomalies
New phenomenological models of Quantum Gravity have suggested that a
Lorentz-Invariant discrete spacetime structure may become manifest through a
nonstandard coupling of matter fields and spacetime curvature. On the other
hand, there is strong experimental evidence suggesting that neutrino
oscillations cannot be described by simply considering neutrinos as massive
particles. In this manuscript we motivate and construct one particular
phenomenological model of Quantum Gravity that could account for the so-called
neutrino anomalies.Comment: For the proceedings of "Relativity and Gravitation: 100 Years after

Study of Non-Standard Neutrino Interactions with Atmospheric Neutrino Data in Super-Kamiokande I and II
In this paper we study non-standard neutrino interactions as an example of
physics beyond the standard model using atmospheric neutrino data collected
during the Super-Kamiokande I(1996-2001) and II(2003-2005) periods. We focus on
flavor-changing-neutral-currents (FCNC), which allow neutrino flavor
transitions via neutral current interactions, and effects which violate lepton
non-universality (NU) and give rise to different neutral-current
interaction-amplitudes for different neutrino flavors. We obtain a limit on the
FCNC coupling parameter, varepsilon_{mu tau}, |varepsilon_{mu tau}|<1.1 x
10^{-2} at 90%C.L. and various constraints on other FCNC parameters as a
function of the NU coupling, varepsilon_{e e}. We find no evidence of
non-standard neutrino interactions in the Super-Kamiokande atmospheric data.Comment: 12 Pages, 14 figures. To be submitted to Phys. Rev.
