Statefinder diagnostic and stability of modified gravity consistent with holographic and new agegraphic dark energy

Recently one of us derived the action of modified gravity consistent with the holographic and new-agegraphic dark energy. In this paper, we investigate the stability of the Lagrangians of the modified gravity as discussed in [M. R. Setare, Int. J. Mod. Phys. D 17 (2008) 2219; M. R. Setare, Astrophys. Space Sci. 326 (2010) 27]. We also calculate the statefinder parameters which classify our dark energy model.Comment: 12 pages, 2 figures, accepted by Gen. Relativ. Gravi

Power-law entropy-corrected HDE and NADE in Brans-Dicke cosmology

Considering the power-law corrections to the black hole entropy, which appear in dealing with the entanglement of quantum fields inside and outside the horizon, the holographic energy density is modified accordingly. In this paper we study the power-law entropy-corrected holographic dark energy in the framework of Brans-Dicke theory. We investigate the cosmological implications of this model in detail. We also perform the study for the new agegraphic dark energy model and calculate some relevant cosmological parameters and their evolution. {As a result we find that this model can provide the present cosmic acceleration and even the equation of state parameter of this model can cross the phantom line wD=1w_D=-1 provided the model parameters are chosen suitably}.Comment: 14 pages, 2 figure, accepted by IJT

OmOm Diagnostic for Dilaton Dark Energy

OmOm diagnostic can differentiate between different models of dark energy without the accurate current value of matter density. We apply this geometric diagnostic to dilaton dark energy(DDE) model and differentiate DDE model from LCDM. We also investigate the influence of coupled parameter α\alpha on the evolutive behavior of OmOm with respect to redshift zz. According to the numerical result of OmOm, we get the current value of equation of state ωσ0\omega_{\sigma0}=-0.952 which fits the WMAP5+BAO+SN very well.Comment: 6 pages and 6 figures

Holographic dark energy with time varying c2c^2 parameter

We consider the holographic dark energy model in which the model parameter c2c^2 evolves slowly with time. First we calculate the evolution of EoS parameter as well as the deceleration parameter in this generalized version of holographic dark energy (GHDE). Depending on the parameter c2c^2, the phantom regime can be achieved earlier or later compare with original version of holographic dark energy. The evolution of energy density of GHDE model is investigated in terms of parameter c2c^2. We also show that the time-dependency of c2c^2 can effect on the transition epoch from decelerated phase to accelerated expansion. Finally, we perform the statefinder diagnostic for GHDE model and show that the evolutionary trajectories of the model in srs-r plane are strongly depend on the parameter c2c^2.Comment: 16 pages, 4 figures, accepted by Astrophys Space Sc

Generalized Second Law of Thermodynamics on the Event Horizon for Interacting Dark Energy

Here we are trying to find the conditions for the validity of the generalized second law of thermodynamics (GSLT) assuming the first law of thermodynamics on the event horizon in both cases when the FRW universe is filled with interacting two fluid system- one in the form of cold dark matter and the other is either holographic dark energy or new age graphic dark energy. Using the recent observational data we have found that GSLT holds both in quintessence era as well as in phantom era for new age graphic model while for holographic dark energy GSLT is valid only in phantom era.Comment: 8 pages, 2 figure

Holographic dark energy in a non-flat universe with Granda-Oliveros cut-off

Motivated by Granda and Oliveros (GO) model, we generalize their work to the non-flat case. We obtain the evolution of the dark energy density, the deceleration and the equation of state parameters for the holographic dark energy model in a non-flat universe with GO cut-off. In the limiting case of a flat universe, i.e. k=0k = 0, all results given in GO model are obtained.Comment: 11 pages, 5 figure

Cosmological evolution and statefinder diagnostic for new holographic dark energy model in non flat universe

In this paper, the holographic dark energy model with new infrared cut-off proposed by Granda and Oliveros has been investigated in spatially non flat universe. The dependency of the evolution of equation of state, deceleration parameter and cosmological evolution of Hubble parameter on the parameters of new HDE model are calculated. Also, the statefinder parameters rr and ss in this model are derived and the evolutionary trajectories in srs-r plane are plotted. We show that the evolutionary trajectories are dependent on the model parameters of new HDE model. Eventually, in the light of SNe+BAO+OHD+CMB observational data, we plot the evolutionary trajectories in srs-r and qrq-r planes for best fit values of the parameters of new HDE model.Comment: 11 pages, 5 figures, Accepted by Astrophys. Interacting Ghost Dark Energy in Non-Flat Universe

A new dark energy model called "ghost dark energy" was recently suggested to explain the observed accelerating expansion of the universe. This model originates from the Veneziano ghost of QCD. The dark energy density is proportional to Hubble parameter, ρD=αH\rho_D=\alpha H, where α\alpha is a constant of order ΛQCD3\Lambda_{\rm QCD}^3 and ΛQCD100MeV\Lambda_{\rm QCD}\sim 100 MeV is QCD mass scale. In this paper, we extend the ghost dark energy model to the universe with spatial curvature in the presence of interaction between dark matter and dark energy. We study cosmological implications of this model in detail. In the absence of interaction the equation of state parameter of ghost dark energy is always wD>1w_D > -1 and mimics a cosmological constant in the late time, while it is possible to have wD<1w_D < -1 provided the interaction is taken into account. When k=0k = 0, all previous results of ghost dark energy in flat universe are recovered. To check the observational consistency, we use Supernova type Ia (SNIa) Gold sample, shift parameter of Cosmic Microwave Background radiation (CMB) and the Baryonic Acoustic Oscillation peak from Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS). The best fit values of free parameter at 1σ1\sigma confidence interval are: Ωm0=0.350.03+0.02\Omega_m^0= 0.35^{+0.02}_{-0.03}, ΩD0=0.750.04+0.01\Omega_D^0=0.75_{-0.04}^{+0.01} and b2=0.080.03+0.03b^2=0.08^{+0.03}_{-0.03}. Consequently the total energy density of universe at present time in this model at 68% level equates to Ωtot0=1.100.05+0.02\Omega_{\rm tot}^0=1.10^{+0.02}_{-0.05}.Comment: 19 pages, 9 figures. Interacting entropy-corrected new agegraphic tachyon, K-essence and dilaton scalar field models of dark energy in non-flat universe

We present the new agegraphic dark energy model by introducing the quantum corrections to the entropy-area relation in the setup of loop quantum gravity. Employing this new form of dark energy, we investigate the model of interacting dark energy and derive its equation of state. We study the correspondence between the tachyon, K-essence and dilaton scalar field models with the interacting entropy-corrected new agegraphic dark energy model in the non-flat FRW universe. Moreover, we reconstruct the corresponding scalar potentials which describe the dynamics of the scalar field models.Comment: 11 pages, typos fixe
