Establishing an Evaluation Framework for the BCE Programme - Final Report
In November 2008, the JISC commissioned WM Enterprise (WME) to undertake âWork Stream Six, Evaluation Phase 1â of its Business and Community Engagement (BCE) programme, aimed to:
ââŠDeliver a cohesive evaluation framework to shape the management and implementation of the evaluation of the JISC Business and Community Engagement (BCE) programme and all its constituent projects.â
The research methodology comprised two main stages:
1. Document and data review
2. Stakeholder consultation
Analysis of the research findings identified that the outcomes and impacts of the BCE programme fall into five main categories:
1. High-level strategy and policy impact
2. Impact on JISC
3. Impact on institutional strategies
4. Impact on institutional BCE activities
5. Wider BCE impact
