Intermittency in Branching Processes
We study the intermittency properties of two branching processes, one with a
uniform and another with a singular splitting kernel. The asymptotic
intermittency indices, as well as the leading corrections to the asymptotic
linear regime are explicitly computed in an analytic framework. Both models are
found to possess a monofractal spectrum with . Relations with

A comparison of different methods in the study of dynamical fluctuations in high energy e+e- collisions
Different methods in the study of anomalous scaling of factorial moments in
high energy e+e- collisions are examined in some detail. It is shown that the
horizontal and vertical factorial moments are equivalent only when they are
used in combination with the cummulant variables. The influence of different
reference frames and that of phase space restrictions is also discussed.Comment: 5 pages, 6 figure
A Monte Carlo Study of the Dynamical-Flucautation Property of the Hadronic System Inside Jets
A study of the dynamical fluctuation property of jets is carried out using
Monte Carlo method. The results suggest that, unlike the average properties of
the hadronic system inside jets, the anisotropy of dynamical fluctuations in
these systems changes abruptly with the variation of the cut parameter \yct.
A transition point exists, where the dynamical fluctuations in the hadronic
system inside jet behave like those in soft hadronic collisions, i.e. being
circular in the transverse plan with repect to dynamical fluctuations. This
finding obtained from Jetset and Herwig Monte Carlo is encouraged to be checked

On the possible space-time fractality of the emitting source
Using simple space-time implementation of the random cascade model we
investigate numerically a conjecture made some time ago which was joining the
intermittent behaviour of spectra of emitted particles with the possible
fractal structure of the emitting source. We demonstrate that such details are
seen, as expected, in the Bose-Einstein correlations between identical

Torqued fireballs in relativistic heavy-ion collisions
We show that the fluctuations in the wounded-nucleon model of the initial
stage of relativistic heavy-ion collisions, together with the natural
assumption that the forward (backward) moving wounded nucleons emit particles
preferably in the forward (backward) direction, lead to an event-by-event
torqued fireball. The principal axes associated with the transverse shape are
rotated in the forward region in the opposite direction than in the backward
region. On the average, the standard deviation of the relative torque angle
between the forward and backward rapidity regions is about 20deg for the
central and 10deg for the mid-peripheral collisions. The hydrodynamic expansion
of a torqued fireball leads to a torqued collective flow, yielding, in turn,
torqued principal axes of the transverse-momentum distributions at different
rapidities. We propose experimental measures, based on cumulants involving
particles in different rapidity regions, which should allow for a quantitative
determination of the effect from the data. To estimate the non-flow
contributions from resonance decays we run Monte Carlo simulations with
THERMINATOR. If the event-by-event torque effect is found in the data, it will
support the assumptions concerning the fluctuations in the early stage of the
fireball formation, as well as the hypothesis of the asymmetric rapidity shape
of the emission functions of the moving sources in the nucleus-nucleus

Bose-Einstein source of intermittency in hadronic interactions
The multi-particle Bose-Einstein correlations are the source of
''intermittency'' in high energy hadronic collisions. The power-law like
increase of factorial moments with decreasing bin size was obtained by complete
event weighing technique with gaussian approximation of space-time particle
emitting source shape. The value of source size parameter was found to be
higher than the common one fitted with the help of the standard Handbury
Brown-Twiss procedure.Comment: 12
A Color Mutation Model of Soft Interaction in High Energy Hadronic Collisions
A comprehensive model, called ECOMB, is proposed to describe multiparticle
production by soft interaction. It incorporates the eikonal formalism, parton
model, color mutation, branching and recombination. The physics is conceptually
opposite to the dynamics that underlies the fragmentation of a string. The
partons are present initially in a hadronic collision; they form a single,
large, color-neutral cluster until color mutation of the quarks leads to a
fission of the cluster into two color-neutral subclusters. The mutation and
branching processes continue until only pairs are left in each small
cluster. The model contains self-similar dynamics and exhibits scaling behavior
in the factorial moments. It can satisfactorily reproduce the intermittency

Collective flow in p-Pb and d-Pb collisions at TeV energies
We apply the hydrodynamic model for the dynamics of matter created in p-Pb
collisions at 4.4TeV and d-Pb collisions at 3.11TeV. The fluctuating initial
conditions are calculated in the Glauber Monte-Carlo model for several
centrality classes. The expansion is performed event by event in
3+1-dimensional viscous hydrodynamics. Noticeable elliptic and triangular flows
appear in the distributions of produced particles
Flow and interferometry in 3+1 dimensional viscous hydrodynamics
The expansion of the fireball created in Au-Au collisions at 200 GeV is
described in (3+1)-dimensional viscous hydrodynamics with shear and bulk
viscosities. We present results for the transverse momentum spectra, the
