Transplantul renal.
Severe acute renal failure characteristics
Centrul Dializă şi Transplant Renal IMSP Spitalul Clinic Republican, Catedra Urologie şi Nefrologie Chirurgicală USMF “N.Testemiţanu”, Al V-lea Congres de Urologie, Dializă şi Transplant Renal din Republica Moldova cu participare internaţională (1-13 iunie 2011)Summary. We have carried out the study of severe acute renal failure demographics, etiology, pathogenesis, treatment results and complications at the Center of Dialysis and Renal Transplant of Clinical Republican Hospital, Chisinau, Moldova. There was analyzed the data of 168 patients with severe acute kidney failure admitted to the Clinical Republican Hospital during the period of 10 years (from 2001 to 2010). The total mortality rate in studied population was 71 (42,26%) patients, being highest in patients with acute renal failure as complication of extrarenal pathology. Main lethal factors included multiorganic failure (28,17%), sepsis and purulent processes (26,76%) and shock of different etiologies (16,90%). 13 (7,74%) patients progressed to end stage renal disease
Generic β-erhythropoietine (Repretine®) therapy and the quality of life of the dialysed population
Centrul Dializă şi Transplant Renal IMSP Spitalul Clinic Republican, Catedra Urologie şi Nefrologie Chirurgicală USMF “N. Testemiţanu”, Al V-lea Congres de Urologie, Dializă şi Transplant Renal din Republica Moldova cu participare internaţională (1-13 iunie 2011)Summary. The prospective 3-months study of the influence of β-erythropoietine (Repretine®) administration on the quality of life in 20 dialyzed patients is described. Treatment dose was 6,000 UI/week. After the treatment hemoglobin levels increased significantly and 70% patients reported the quality of life amelioration. As the physical component of the quality of life index increased from 33,81±1,56 points (M±m) till 38,51±1,49 points (p0,05), than composed health index increased due to the amelioration of the physical stage of the patients, that positively correlated with increased hemoglobin values
Thirty years’ experience of the end stage renal disease treatment in the center of dialysis and kidney transplantation
Centrul Dializă şi Transplant Renal IMSP Spitalul Clinic Republican, Catedra Urologie şi Nefrologie Chirurgicală USMF “N.Testemiţanu”, Al V-lea Congres de Urologie, Dializă şi Transplant Renal din Republica Moldova cu participare internaţională (1-13 iunie 2011)Summary. Chronic glomerulonephritis, tubulointerstitial nephropathies and hereditary pathology remain main causes of the end stage renal disease, but their prevalence has decreased from 90% till 75% during the last decade. Dialysis and kidney Transplantation Center activities have shown the continuous increase of the number of patients on chronic dialysis as well as of the number of yearly performed dialysis sessions with simultaneous patients’ mortality reduction and increased patients survival. The mean volume of work carried out by medical personal has increased in 4 times during the last 15 years. Taking everything into consideration, the smooth work of the section is provided by hardworking, highly qualified and specially trained medical personnel
