Assessment of the role of lipoprotein a level in the development of cardiovascular diseases

A comparative study of 2 groups of patients with cardiovascular diseases with high and normal levels of lipoprotein (a) was conducted to determine the relationship between high levels of Lp (a) and the nature of the development of cardiovascular events. According to the results of the study, conclusions were drawn about the significance of the level of Lp (a), as well as lipidlowering therapy in patients with cardiovascular disease. The features of the patient population with the expected increase in Lp (a) and the predominance of damage to the arteries of the brachiocephalus in individuals with elevated Lp (a) were revealed. Hypolipidemic statin therapy with satisfactory correction of the lipid spectrum does not always allow monitoring of the increase in Lp (a)Для анализа эффективности коррекции уровня ЛП(а) проведено сравнительное исследование 2 групп пациентов с сердечно-сосудистыми заболеваниями с высоким и нормальным уровнями липопротеина(а) с целью определения связи между высоким уровнем Лп(а) и характером развития сердечно-сосудистых событий. Kidney pathology and nephroprotection among patients with COVID-19

А number of medical articles, documents and described clinical cases were studied to analyze the dependence of kidney function on COVID-19 disease. A number of conclusions were drawn about the significance of kidney involvement in the clinical picture of COVID-19 and the role of AKF in the adverse outcome. Risk factors from the kidneys for coronavirus infection and renal complications of COVID-19 were also established. In addition, the effect of drugs prescribed to patients with coronavirus infection on kidney function was analyzed. Clinical significance of the risk assessment of the cardioemobolic stroke in the patients of the senior age group outside depending on the attract fibrillation

An assessment of the risk of cardioembolic stroke in a sample of patients over 65 years old among patients with a cardiological hospital of the city clinical hospital number 14 in Yekaterinburg was carried out. The group included 60 patients (41 women, 19 men) aged from 65 to 94 years. The average age is 74 years. Patients were assessed on a CHA2DS2 –VASc scale regardless of the current presence of atrial fibrillation. The analysis of the obtained data was performed using the statistical package SPSS 20.0. According to the results of the survey, it was found out that 96% of patients had more than 2 points on the CHA2DS2 –VASc scale; in 40% of patients they had MI in anamnesis. It was revealed that only 5% had a history of atrial fibrillation. The result obtained has a high clinical significance, since it indicates the need to assess the risks of cardioembolic stroke in the older age group regardless of the presence of atrial fibrillation at the present time for timely medical prophylaxis.Проведена оценка риска кардиоэмболического инсульта в выборке пациентов старше 65 лет среди больных кардиологического стационара ГКБ№14 г.Екатеринбурга. В группу вошли 60 пациентов (41 женщин, 19 мужчин) в возрасте от 65 до 94 лет (средний возраст 74±8,29 года). Проведена оценка пациентов по шкале CHA2DS2 –VASc независимо от наличия в текущий момент фибрилляции предсердий. Анализ полученных данных проводили с помощью статистического пакета SPSS 20.0.По результатам проведенного обследования выяснено, что 96% пациентов имели более 2 баллов по шкале CHA2DS2 –VASc, МИ в анамнезе выявлен у53,3% пациентов. Выявлено, что у лишь 5% диагностировалась фибрилляция предсердий. Полученный результат имеет высокое клиническое значение, поскольку указывает на необходимость оценки рисков кардиоэмболического инсульта в старшей возрастной группе независимо от наличия фибрилляций предсердий в текущее время для своевременной медикаментозной профилактики
