This research is dedicated to the study of the sustainability conception in education adopted by multicultural processes. The results of this research are analysed from a study conducted at Samara State University of Social Sciences and Education and Ludwigsburg Pedagogical Institute.  Multicultural teaching develops dynamically. It seems possible to develop an instrument to evaluate on an ongoing basis as to how to improve multicultural teaching further within regional policy. For this, we aim to demonstrate the importance of using Inter- and trans-disciplinary methods as a significant contributor in many countries to better understand perspectives to analyse multicultural teaching in regions. To further the ideas about the perspectives to develop multicultural teaching, we feel strongly that action-oriented and reflective and responsible methods are an important mediator to ensure multicultural teaching. Hence, in this research we speak about the integrative model, in particular, considering the relationship that exists between the educational practices to increase the role of education and the determinate needs of peoples of all nationalities and the new phenomenon of the regional policy. To do so, we use structural and functional approach. The ideas presented here attempt to visually organise the views upon which Russian intercultural experts have reached in particular considering the methods that exist to improve multicultural teaching

Photoelectrochemical (PEC) water splitting is a promising route for solar energy harvesting and storage. The most challenging obstacle for efficient water splitting is development of catalysts for oxygen evolution reaction (OER). Monoclinic bismuth vanadate (BiVO4, BVO) stands out as an excellent photoanode material due to its high stability in near-neutral electrolytes, suitable band structure and low-cost synthesis. However, pronounced charge recombination is a huge limiting factor and understanding the effects contributing to it is important for further improvements. In present study, we report the effect of swift heavy ion (SHI) irradiation (Xe, 150 MeV, 1 × 1010 – 5 × 1011 ions cm-2 ) on physicochemical properties of hydrothermally synthesized BVO thin films. X-ray diffraction (XRD) study showed that irradiated material preserved initial monoclinic scheelite phase and preferential growth along [010] direction together with the presence of notable amorphization at the highest fluence. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) of all samples showed prismatic grains with an average size of 600 nm with the appearance of ion tracks after irradiation. More detailed examination of 1 × 1010 ions cm-2 irradiated sample by transmission electron microscopy (TEM) revealed presence of amorphous ion tracks (~ 10 nm in diameter) and hillocks at the BVO surface (~ 10 nm in height). Raman spectra showed bands that correspond to the monoclinic scheelite phase as well as the presence of new bands for 5 × 1011 ion cm-2 irradiated sample at 420 and 915 cm-1 that originate from complex vanadium oxides. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) after SHI irradiation showed an increase of V4+ states and oxygen vacancies, especially at higher fluences. Diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (DRS) measurements showed decrease of band gap with the increase of fluence. Photocurrent densities, obtained from 1-hour-long chronoamperometry measurements, showed that irradiation with 1 × 1010 ions cm-2 fluence leads to gradual recovery of PEC oxygen evolution with time. XRD, SEM and XPS measurements performed after PEC reveal complex changes in the BVO, including dissolution of the material along ion tracks.Twenty-First Young Researchers’ Conference - Materials Science and Engineering: Program and the Book of Abstracts; November 29 – December 1, 2023, Belgrade, Serbi

Photoelectrochemical (PEC) cells for solar-energy conversion have received huge interest as a promising technology for renewable energy production. For the efficient application of such cells, it is necessary to develop adequate photoelectrodes. Recently, bismuth vanadate (BiVO4) has emerged as a promising photoanode due to its visible light harvesting properties, band edge positions and low-cost of synthesis. In this study, the effects of N5+ ion irradiation (75keV, 2 × 1014 and 4 × 1014 ions/cm2 ) on physicochemical properties of hydrothermally synthesized BiVO4 thin films were examined. From X-ray diffraction (XRD) study can be concluded that initial monoclinic material didn’t sustain any phase transition after irradiation. Also, preferential orientation remained dominantly along [010] direction with a slightly increasing share of [121] oriented growth, especially after irradiation with 2 × 1014 ions/cm2 . XRD measurements showed shift towards the higher 2θ after irradiation which indicates that interplanar distances decreases. The highest level of crystallinity was observed for the sample irradiated with fluence of 4 × 1014 ions/cm2 . Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) revealed prismatic morphology of all samples with an average grain size of 600 nm without visible traces of irradiation.Raman spectroscopy confirmed presence of bands that correspond to the monoclinic scheelite phase. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) analysis of V 2p confirmed presence of V5+ and V4+ while analysis of O 1s confirmed presence of oxygen in the form of lattice oxygen and in the form of hydroxide. UV-Vis Diffuse Reflectance spectroscopy revealed that calculated band gap decreases with the increase of fluence

Monoclinic bismuth vanadate (BiVO4) is considered to be one of the most promising photoanode materials for photoelectrochemical (PEC) water splitting due to its suitable band gap and band structure, good stability and low-cost synthesis. However, BiVO4 has poor charge transfer properties due to the high rate of electron-hole recombination and understanding the effects contributing to it is important for further improvements. Herein, we report the effect of swift heavy ion irradiation (Xe, 150 MeV, 1010 – 5×1011 ions/cm2 ) on physicochemical properties of hydrothermally synthesized BiVO4 thin films. X-ray diffraction study (XRD) showed that irradiated material preserved initial monoclinic scheelite crystal phase and preferential growth along [010] direction. As the fluence increased, a shift of the diffraction maxima towards lower 2θ values was observed indicating increased interplanar distances. Also, for the 5×1011 ions/cm2 irradiated sample, high degree of amorphization was noticed. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) of all samples showed prismatic grains with an average size of 600 nm. In irradiated samples formation of ion tracks, ~10 nm in diameter, was observed. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) analysis of Bi 4f, V 2p and O 1s states showed that, after irradiation, increased amounts of V4+ and oxygen in the form of hydroxide occurred, especially at higher fluences. By using UV-Vis Diffuse Reflectance spectroscopy we showed that band gap decreased with the increase of fluence. Photocurrent densities obtained from linear sweep voltammetry indicated that irradiation with fluences higher than 1010 ions/cm2 have a notable negative effect on PEC oxygen evolution reaction. However, 1-hour-long chronoamperometry measurements of 1010 ions/cm2 irradiated sample revealed an increase of photocurrent densities. In order to get a better insight into preceding phenomena, we performed XRD, SEM and XPS analysis after PEC process

The purpose of the article is to identify the influence of the stability of the self-concept and different types of communication on the communicative tactics of interpersonal interaction, represented in the speech act. The hypothesis states that incongruence/congruence of self-concept determines the choice of speech act of the person in the process of cognition; the type of self-concept system that affects relationships with people is reflected in the speech act. Speech act, according to the concept of contextual education, is a unit of communication, the basis of activity and social interaction. The article presents the results of empirical research, in which 333 first-year students of two universities of Yekaterinburg participated. J. Kelly's repertory grid technique was used in the study. Personality constructs, which are obtained in the study, are constructed on the basis of bipolar differences. Personal constructs allowed us to identify the type of communication that affects the relationship with people; they allow us to evaluate the self-concept of first-year university students; self-esteem, assessment of significant others, real self and ideal self-presented in the constructs give an idea of the stability of the self-concept and the presence of cognitive conflicts caused by personal characteristics. Based on the analysis of role preferences in repertoire lattices and the distribution of the real self and the ideal self by type of communication, the levels of stability of the self-concept and the basic characteristics of a speech act are described, such as the nature of one’s own message, the correspondence of what is communicated and what is experienced, one’s position and role in communication, type of speech behavior, giving another person a role in communication. Theoretical significance – a tool is proposed for determining the level of stability of the self-concept, which, in unity with the type of communication, influences the nature of the speech act of a first-year student. Practical significance – determining the individual characteristics of a speech act will allow us to identify the level of formation of self-awareness of the subject of cognition, which will contribute to the creation of psychological and pedagogical conditions aimed at identifying the adaptive potential of first-year students at the initial stage of professionalization (initiation)

The purpose of the article is to study the socio-political attitudes of Moscow students, which determine their life strategies in the public sphere. An empirical basis for the study was the sociological survey of students of three universities in Moscow (n = 768). The questionnaire was partially based on Milton Rokeach’s terminal personal values indicators and the methodology of studying political culture of Gabriel Almond and Sidney Verba, adapted to a Russian context. The survey data operationalization let us represent a structural model of socio-political attitudes of Moscow students, which consists of indicators of four levels: value, emotional, cognitive, and strategic. The results showed that students in Moscow share the values and patriotic feelings of the elder generations. The influence of gender and age factors was most pronounced on the level of personal values. Despite of the field of their study, students in Moscow can be described as quite energetic and optimistic young citizens, equally family and career oriented with not a high interest in politics and weak political activity. Authors discussed their main findings with the results of previously obtained all-Russian and regional youth studies

Nowadays scientists from different countries and regions of the countries speak about current issues on the problem of multicultural experiences policy in education in regional higher institutions. Moreover they believe that together that is possible to set the aims and the further multicultural initiatives for the future of the world regional and personal cultures challenges. Identifying and understanding the Internal Supply Chain (ISC) Frame work of an organization is an effective management tool. The study is an exploratory one mainly because of scanty literature on supply chain management in the education sector. Thus, they give the ideas of further foundation of multicultural initiatives in education, to set the stage for open communication between educational and cultural organizations of different regions of the countries. In this paper we highlighted the importance of multicultural initiatives development in regional higher institution in Russia. Focusing on three specific educational contexts (multicultural education in every region, comparative approach to multicultural competence development in regional higher institutions, curriculum design within higher institutions in multicultural regions), they provide their view on the problem that educators can relate to and apply to their own regional higher institutions. It was recommended that for efficient operation of the Internal Supply Chain (ISC) in regional higher institution in Russia, there needed to be optimal information flow as well as materials (Human, Financial and Physical resources) flow throughout the university
