Continuing the previously published yearly issues, this issue again reports in an informatively categorizing form on production and sales in the automotive industry in the Federal Republic of Germany in the reporting year. The development of previous years is also shown in a sufficiently categorized form. The tables mainly refer to the results of the Association's own findings on production, domestic sales, and the exports of motor vehicles, especially classified according to types. These data are completed by statistics pertaining to the automotive industry which stem from the official findings of the Federal Statistical Bureau (production figures, turnovers, employees, cost structure, exports etc.) and the Federal Bureau for Motor Vehicles (new registrations, owner changes, numbers, deletions etc.). Statistical data relating to the infrastructure of roads, traffic performance power, fuel consumption, car maintenance costs, and the development of accidents - which are only a few of the important topics - complete the informative view at the motor vehicle industry. The manual closes with a brief international part, as usual. (orig.)Die Ausgabe berichtet in der bewaehrten sachlichen Gliederung ueber das Produktions- und Absatzgeschehen in der Automobilindustrie der Bundesrepublik Deutschland im Berichtsjahr. Die Entwicklung in frueheren Jahren wird in einer ausreichenden Gliederungstiefe gleichfalls nachgewiesen. Im Vordergrund des Tabellenprogramms stehen die Ergebnisse der verbandseigenen Erhebungen ueber die Produktion, den Inlandsabsatz und den Export von Kraftwagen, insbesondere in typenmaessiger Gliederung. Diese Angaben finden ihre Ergaenzung durch die fuer die Automobilindustrie relevanten Statistiken aus dem amtlichen Erhebungsbereich des Statistischen Bundesamtes (Produktionswerte, Umsaetze, Beschaeftigte, Kostenstruktur, Aussenhandel u.a.m.) und des Kraftfahrt-Bundesamtes (Neuzulassungen, Besitzumschreibungen, Bestand, Loeschungen). Statistische Daten ueber die Strasseninfrastruktur, die Verkehrsleistungen, den Kraftstoffverbrauch, die Pkw-Haltungskosten und die Unfallentwicklung - um nur einige wichtige Sachverhalte hervorzuheben - vervollstaendigen den Ueberblick ueber die Kraftverkehrswirtschaft. Das Handbuch schliesst wie gewohnt mit einem kurzgefassten internationalen Teil ab.
