GEOGRAPHICAL ASPECTS OF SPACE-TIME EVOLUTION OF INDEPENDENT STATES
This study aims to analyze the space-time evolution of independent states as a support for the assertion of regionalization as an integral part of the larger phenomenon called globalization. In this context, the results obtained aim to highlight the role and importance of proclaiming and asserting independent states in shaping regionalization
THE INFLUENCE OF SPORTS AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITY ON THE METABOLIC SYNDROME: A SYSTEMATIC REVIEW
Metabolic Syndrome (MS) is one of the most significant causes of world death rate, associating several abnormalities: increased values of blood pressure, blood glucose, lipid metabolism disorders and obesity, or large abdominal circumference. In an attempt to decrease the burden of this pandemic disease by implementing more effective prevention and treatment strategies, numerous clinical trials have been conducted in order to establish a proper therapeutic course, also by using physical activity as the central link to treatment. Given this background, we have analysed the recently published data, strictly focusing on the significance and benefits of the physical activity over patients with MS. The conclusions that have emerged have highlighted that sport and physical activity play a major role in the management of the Metabolic Syndrome, both in improving all components as well as in some cases determining its reversibility
Methodological Aspects Regarding the Planning and Development of Integrated Tourist Routes and Circuits. Case Study: Luncasprie, Romania
The intensification of tourist activities at the level of the Bihor Tourist Destination, in parallel
with the increase in the need to diversify the local tourist offer, led to the need to identify new solutions
in this regard. Due to the geographical location of the studied area, in the immediate vicinity of the
Oradea Municipality, this space, due to the values with which it is endowed with the natural
environment and the existing tourist infrastructure, can be constituted as a viable alternative with a
role in reducing the tourist pressure in the Oradea area and in diversifying the tourist offer through
rural tourism and agritourism. In this context, the present study aims to propose integrated tourist
routes and circuits following the analysis of the local tourist potential. The results obtained consisted in
carrying out an analysis of the natural environment from a tourism perspective and making some
development proposals (three routes and a tourist circuit)
PADIŞ - A GEOMORPHOMETRIC APPROACH
This study presents a unitary morphometric analysis for one of the most spectacular karst sectors in Romania: the closed basin Padiș – Cetățile Ponorului. 2 DEMs was used for this purpose, one derived from the interpolation of level curves and altimetry quotas from topographic maps, on scale 1 : 25000, and the second (generated from LiDAR data) was taken over from the National Agency for Cadastre and Land Registration (ANCPI). We have processed 6 morphometric parameters comparatively (hypsometry, slope, aspect and 3 types of curvatures : profil, plan and general curvature) to highlight the metric features of the relief in the studied area as accurately as possible. The results show that the surface relief in Padiș is mature, with an average altitude of 1268 m, in which prevail the slopes with moderate tilt (6 - 17), predominantly sunny and semi-sunny. The relation between the general curvature values and the hydrogeologic features of the area explains the distribution of the sectors with underground water loss and also the disorganized distribution of the surface hydrographic network
Book review: - TEODOREANU Elena, GACEU Ovidiu, (2013), Turismul balneoclimatic în România (Balneoclimatic Tourism in Romania), Editura Universității din Oradea.
This paper presents some of the greatest treasures of Romania, undervalued both national and especially international – air and water valorified in three types of bioclimate determined by the natural layering of the relief (tonic-stimulant, sedativeindifferent and turn-applicant), plus two indoor bioclimates (saline and cave), 11 types of mineral waters, numerous lakes (fresh, brackish and salty), therapeutic mud (mud, minerals and peat), therapeutic gases (pits, Solfatara ). From ancient times until present more than 250 resorts have been created, both for local and general interest, and if we take into account locations with balnear conditions, the resorts of balnear interest will exceed 500 and thereby Romania can be a contender to certain countries with traditional tourist basins such as France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Greece etc
Aspects regarding speed development in football game in 12 - 14 years old children
Football in schools, top level football, or football for masses have a wide range of issues studied by theory and methodology in order to render these football branches more effective, and to find other ways or means to achieve in optimal conditions the objectives of this sports area. Football theory comprises a wide array of knowledge structured into a coherent and logical system that describes and explains this phenomenon. Thus, theory is divided into two notions, one being the description of the content, and the other, its explanation. Football methodology takes over and adapts some general principles, methods and means of pedagogy, physical education, sports, sports training, but also of sports games methodology. It also includes principles, methods and means of training in football. In schools, football is part of the curriculum. In this context, we aim to study some aspects of speed development using football and its specific methods as intervention means. The age category we have addressed is represented by children aged 12-14 years. We chose to study speed development because it is an extremely important element in the acquisition of motor skills at this specific age in children

Aspects regarding the physical training level of "CSL Sporting Lugaș" female football team during the competitive year 2017-2018
This study was designed to determine the evolution of the physical training level of the "CSL SPORTING LUGAȘ" female football during the competitive year 2017-2018 by conducting two tests before and after the physical training program, and using Gacon and Yo-Yo tests. These tests are an element of novelty in Romanian football overall and in female football especially, as they introduce a certain level of competition, generating emulation and desire to compete. These tests have a high degree of difficulty. In this regard, we can also highlight athletes` desire to complete the tests with best results
Considerations regarding the evolution, distribution and dynamics of the romanian football (League I) between 1989 - 2016
The present study aims to highlight different issues related to: the evolution, repartition and dynamics of the Romanian football (League I) between 1989 – 2016 by using an analytical approach, from singular to particular, from the team (seen as a basic cell in football) to location, county, development regions, historical region and country (seen as administrative units that support football). The importance of the study emerges from the explanatory and logical approach, from the mechanisms that contributed to the development and consolidation of the Romanian football (League I), in close correlation with the postcommunist socio-economic transformations which have defined each administrative unit involved as part of the Romanian national state
Football and economy before and after communism in Romania
The present study aims at identifying the relations between football and the Romanian economy before and after the communist period (1986 - 2005). This study was based on bibliographic analyzes and analytical interpretations, in time and space, of the information regarding the number of teams in League III and of the relationships they develop with the economic environment. The results reflect the profound mutations that economy and sports has experienced during the passage of the Romanian society from a communist society to a capitalist one. The indissoluble link between football and the economic environment is evident especially for teams in League III
