Progrès récents en médecine périopératoire : nouveaux usages des marqueurs inflammatoires

La prise en compte de l’inflammation périopératoire, nous amène à considérer de nouvelles stratégies de dépistage, de stratification des patients, d’optimisation préopératoire, surtout en cas de cancer mais aussi chez le patient fragile. Le médecin généraliste peut aujourd’hui travailler avec les médecins hospitaliers, dans le cadre d’une chaine de soins, pour mieux documenter, comprendre et adapter les stratégies de prise en charge périopératoire, dans l’espoir de faciliter la résolution de la phase postopératoire.[Recent advances in peri-operative medicine: promising new use of inflammatory markers] The concept of peri-operative inflammation leads us to consider new patient screening, patient stratification, and preoperative optimization strategies, particularly in frail elderly cancer patients.
