    Salah satu aspek yang penting dalam perencanaan proyek adalah proses pengadaan barang (procurement) untuk material proyek. Proses pengadaan barang berimplikasi langsung terhadap pengerjaan proyek terutama pada waktu penyelesaian suatu pekerjaan di proyek dikarenakan pekerjaan konstruksi baru akan dimulai jika material sudah tersedia di tempat. Aplikasi dari penggunaan teknologi informasi dalam manajemen proyek khususnya manajemen pengadaan material adalah traceability system yang menjadi alat krusial bagi sejumlah perusahaan dalam melakukan proses pelacakan material. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat sistem traceability yang terintegrasi mulai dari pembuatan material requisition kebutuhan material hingga material tiba di site area. Identifikasi aliran informasi dan proses bisnis kemudian terlebih dahulu dilakukan. Model yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah unified modelling language sebagai model dasar arsitektur sistem traceability material proyek yang terdiri atas use case diagram, class diagram, dan sequence diagram untuk setiap pekerjaan pengadaan dan pengusutan material proyek yang kemudian diimplementaikan ke dalam bahasa pemrograman MySQL. Implementasi sistem traceability material proyek berupa software Material requisition Traceability System kemudian dilakukan proses validasi dan analisis manfaat. Manfaat dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa sistem traceability material proyek yang dirancang dapat diimplementasikan di setiap proyek PT Krakatau Engineering. Hal yang utama adalah sistem traceability material proyek mampu menjadi jembatan informasi antardepartemen yang menaungi pengadaan dan pengusutan material proyek

    Application of Value Stream Mapping on Operating Project Business Process at Nickel Mining Industry

    This study investigated the usage of manhours against project cost impact in the business process of capital and operating project in mining industry. The case study in this study is nickel mining company in Indonesia. The waste identification and elimination are used on the business process operations and capital project delivery system using lean thinking in project management and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The study results shows that in current business process state, 95% project expenditure in case study on 2019 was spent for capital project and 5% for project operations. This results of this study is quite different with the manhours spent each on operating and capital project. In 2019, both the Capital Project Management and Engineering Services department spent 70% of their manhours on Capital Project and 30% on Operating Project. It shows that in managing 5% of their project budget, the company’s case study had to spent 30% of their project team manhours. With the proposed business process, the company’s case study should be able to optimize their manhours usage proportionally to the project cost impact

    This paper describes the application of the Six Sigma methods is used in order to improve quality in manufacturing company that produce stationary product. DMAIC approach is utilized to analyze and improve 'Pocket Clear File' product since this product has more variability and defects. Quality improvement also monitor the process that influenced pocket defect in Bag Making, Kami-ire, Karidome, and Pocket after Karidome Inspections section. Determining of Six Sigma project is based in process and defect type in each section. FMEA also gave the recommendation for quality improvement we need to evaluate the final result of the improvement since some of them were not working properly. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Paper ini menggambarkan bagaimana aplikasi metode Six Sigma digunakan untuk melakukan perbaikan kualitas pada perusahaan manufaktur yang memproduksi produk stationary. Pendekatan DMAIC dipakai untuk menganalisa dan melakukan perbaikan produk 'Pocket Clear File' karena tingginya variabilitas dan cacat dibanding produk lain. Perbaikan kualitas juga memperhatikan proses yang mempengaruhi terjadinya cacat pocket pada section Bag Making, Kami-ire, Karidome, dan Pocket after Karidome Inspection. Penentuan proyek Six Sigma didasarkan atas proses dan jenis cacat pada setiap section. Pendekatan FMEA mampu memberi rekomendasi perbaikan kualitas.     Project Management must meet the performance criteria of timeliness and budget control agreed between the project owner, contractor and supervisor. However, the level of uncertainty in the project implementation process is very high and causes delays and over budgeting. The Village Nongkojajar is a Proposed Integrated Agropark Project as a result of the revitalization of the non-productive land of the Horticultural Seed Farm owned by the Government of East Java Province. The Landscape Architecture Project has a Creative Value Chain which is divided into Creation - Implementation - Management. Therefore scheduling and controlling the project becomes important in order to to estimate working time and the project remains in accordance with the predetermined project timeline and whenever corrective action is needed. The relevance of Project Management in this research is that with high project problems, require a good planning process. The Project can be completed quickly than the specified time and more cost effective. Critical Chain Project Management (CCPM) is one method for completing and preparing projects that focus on the resource requirements for implementing projects by adding project buffers, feeding buffers and resource buffers. By analyzing using CCPM, researchers can look for optimization and control in implementing project scheduling

    Port is one of the important things in trade and logistics. The major influence factor of port productivity is the cycle time for loading and unloading. The container activity in port logistics consists of several activities, such as discharging, loading, receiving, delivery, gate-in, and gate-out, among others. These activities using various equipment including container cranes, Rubber Tyred Gantry (RTG), trucks, and other related machinery. The availability of equipment is one of the factors the influence delays in container activities, which can negatively affect productivity. The productivity of the port will affect to Key Performance Indicator (KPI) of the port. The purpose of this study is to analyze the flow of containers that used process mining. Moreover, it provides a recommendation to increase the productivity at Terminal Nilam Multipurpose Port of Tanjung Perak. Process mining method includes many of other analysis, that is discovery, prediction and real-time, bottlenecks and deviation analysis. Disco program used to analyze container activity, besides this, the disco program also use to determine bottleneck mapping that effect to port productivity. The result show delivery and receiving are the cause of the bottleneck. Delivery cancel is known as an activity that inappropriate with the ideal process and indicates as an error in the flow of container activities. The improvement scenario carried out from the results of the analysis obtained is to minimize the occurrence of cancel loading delivery, to obtain a time reduction of ± 11.6 hours.     In the mining industry, analyzing, and controlling the spare parts inventory is important activities and need special attention from the company. The high production cost of the mining industry, including spare parts and shortages costs affects the financial and operational aspects of the company. Spare parts inventory management policy is critical to increase the service level and minimize spare parts cost. In this mining case study, the out of stock incidents in the heavy equipment spare parts were often occurring and significantly affecting the performance of maintenance and operations. The purpose of this study is to determine minimum stock (safety stock) and maximum stock to reduce overstocks and reduce the number of stocks out in spare parts inventory and as well as inventory cost. The method used to solve the problem is economic order quantity (EOQ) and continuous review control (S, s) to determine the minimum and maximum stocks. Determining the combination of S and s has a major impact on the success of inventory control. Substitution parts are subdivided into alphabetical values to determine their significance. As a result of calculating inventory value using EOQ and S, s will get the highest inventory value to reduce inventory costs

This causes the higher demand for better product quality. By asking for quality demand it will become a hot segment for garment companies. Seeing this opportunity, Rumah Kapas as a company in the garment field needs to improve its strategy to meet new challenges and demands from the textile and garment industry. This research is going to be conducted by analysing internal and external data from the company. Resulting data will be processed using SWOT Analysis and Five Forces Analysis. Those will provide an output in a form of generic strategies by Porter and give strategic recommendation that will be translated to objectives and key result using Objectives and Key Result (OKR) method.     Integration of FMEA and Bayesian network methods for risk assessment of components delay in ferry ship construction

    Construction of new ships in Indonesia. In this case study, the construction of a 600 DWT Ro-Ro ferry. The 600 DWT Shipbuilding Project involves various risks that may affect the schedule and results. A risk assessment involving the quality control team, project lead, and production management is carried out to identify and quantify the level of risk and its consequences. The results of this assessment assist in understanding and managing project risk, stress the importance of communication and coordination between teams, and enable better contingency planning and more effective project management. The FMEA calculation method is used to identify potential failure modes, determine the impact of each failure, and calculate a risk score based on the probability and effect of each failure. The Bayesian method updates the likelihood of failure based on new data that appears during the shipbuilding process. FMEA data is taken from the RPN (Risk Priority Number) at the Occurrence value, then weighted against the list of risks. Most risks are considered 'rare' in terms of likelihood and 'insignificant' in terms of consequence, indicating that despite potential obstacles, the impact on the project is expected to be minimal. However, several risks with 'minor' effects have been identified, highlighting the importance of effective risk planning and mitigation. The integration of this method still needs to be improved, especially in the shipping industry. This method can be developed by making applications to control the procurement of materials at the beginning and during the construction and evaluation process at the end.     Food safety and halal food in the supply chain: Review and bibliometric analysis

    Purpose: Researchers have been actively investigating various issues concerning food safety and halal food in the supply chain. The ultimate goal is to provide guarantees for quality and conformance regarding food standards and demanding expectation from the consumers. We review a set of two-decade food safety and halal food in supply chain (SC) literature from 1990 to 2018 (month of February) in order to pinpoint the problems, models, solution approaches and more importantly, the future directions of this field. Design/methodology/approach: Our method employs the 120 published articles on food safety and halal food in SC research. Various techniques from statistics, bibliometrics, and analytics are systematically deployed to gain insights on how the literature address these two topics. Findings: The predominant contributing articles, authors, affiliations, and keywords have been reviewed, clustered, and thoroughly analyzed. Through systematic graphical and clustering analyses, four major clusters regarding food safety and two clusters in halal food in SC research have been identified as the most promising and potential future for research opportunities. Research limitations/implications: This study focuses on articles that discuss food safety and halal. Practical implications: Our findings provide valuable insights to understand the major clusters of the research endeavour along with the plausible pathways to where they would likely develop in the future. With these insights, researchers and practitioners shall be able to devise initiatives that are of high relevance and significance in the near future. Social implications: This research provides an understanding to the reader about the relationship between food safety and halal. Originality/value: This paper provides the first systematic overview of food safety and halal food for supply chain researchers to see the big picture of the field. Serving as the thread connecting research endeavour in these two research areas, our novel work highlights how the work is connected, which research clusters have been the center-of-attention during the last two decades, and consequently, which areas are still lacking an investigation. We believe that people in both academia and industry who are keen to develop a rigorous solution to ensuring food safety and food halal-ness to satisfy global market requirement will be benefitting the most from our analysis.Peer Reviewe
