Theoretical Principles of Motivation Management in the Territorial Community

The importance of employee motivation in a territorial community lies in its impact on their productivity, efficiency, and engagement in community development. Motivated employees demonstrate greater initiative, creativity, and collaboration skills, which contribute to achieving community goals and solving its problems. Moreover, motivation helps retain talented individuals, increases job satisfaction, and creates a positive work atmosphere that fosters cooperation and community development as a whole. The article explores the historical origins of the term “motivation” and its main stages of evolution. It examines interpretations of the concept of motivation by both domestic and foreign scholars and proposes its own definition. Motivation is understood as “the main management function that consists of a set of specific motives that drive employees to more productive and efficient work in order to achieve their own goals and the goals of the organization, as well as to apply employees' professional potential in a strategic period”. The dynamics of the number of scientific publications in the Scopus database on motivation research over the past 10 years, including by Ukrainian scientists, are analyzed. The search results show an increasing interest of researchers in studying the concept of motivation, with a total of 13,072 works in 2022. The main stages of the employee motivation process are considered. This process includes six main stages: the emergence of a need, seeking ways to satisfy the need, setting goals and directions of action, implementation of specific actions, receiving rewards for actions performed, and satisfaction of the need. A comparative characteristic of the terms “motivation” and “stimulation” is provided based on the following comparison criteria: scope of application, duration of action, stimulating measures, relation to work, organizational form, and overall goals. A well-developed motivation system that combines both material and non-material incentives ensures improved productivity, as motivated employees are more inclined to high-quality and productive work. By improving motivational management, a community can stimulate employees to achieve better results in their duties and attract and retain talented personnel, as competition for talented specialists becomes increasingly intense

Renewable Energy in Ukraine-Poland Region: Comparison, Critical Analysis, and Opportunities

Fundamental and applied research on renewable energy is actively supported for the development of world science and maintaining the energy independence and security of different countries. This section analyzes the publications of scientists from two countries—Ukraine and Poland—in the field of “thermoelectricity,” “photoelectricity,” and “bioenergy” to find regularities in each state and to determine the prospects for joint research. Ukraine and Poland share a common border and have similar climatic conditions and historical heritage, but Poland is a member of the EU, and its legislation in the field of renewable energy complies with the regulations of the European Community. Ukraine is making every effort to develop renewable energy. Comparison of the state of research in these countries is also an example of the analysis of the situation at the borders of EU countries and may answer questions related to sustainable development, the mass transition to renewable energy, and the refusal to use fossil fuels and nuclear power plants. The analysis is based on the results of data published in the international scientific databases Web of Science and Scopus. Economic Aspects of Final Energy Consumption in Ukraine: Prospects of Implementation of the Positive Experience of the European Union

The lack of a proper system for the use of energy resources is a nationwide problem in Ukraine. Payment for the consumed services for energy carriers mainly formed according to “consumption rates”, which can significantly ex-ceed the actually received amount of services and leads to an unjustified in-crease in the cost of energy resources. All this requires a search for new tools to stimulate energy intensity, effective accounting of the total volume of ener-gy consumption and the introduction of the best foreign experience in the field of energy saving in Ukraine. The analysis of energy consumption in the coun-try made it possible to identify the existing problems that subsist in the energy sphere today and provided an opportunity to propose ways to eliminate imbal-ances. The proposed methodology makes it possible to build models for estab-lishing the relationship between energy intensity and final energy consump-tion in Ukraine. Evaluation of foreign European experience makes it possible to implement the most necessary reforms and measures in domestic practice to improve the sphere of energy consumption

Potential of energy saving in the system of development of agriculture in Ukraine Потенциал энергосбережения в системе развития сельского хозяйства Украины

The article is devoted to solution of problems of energy saving of the country by means of balanced development of agriculture. The article analyses main ecologic and energetic problems of Ukraine at the modern stage of its development. It conducts a monitoring of ecologic and energetic changes in development of developed countries. It substantiates a necessity, role, directions and prospects of balanced development of agriculture in solution of economic, social, food and energy problems of stable development of the country. It substantiates potential opportunities of development of renewable sources of energy, including by means of development of agriculture.<br>Данная статья посвящена решению проблем энергосбережения страны путем сбалансированного развития сельского хозяйства. Strategic Analysis of the Development of Renewable Energetics in the World and in Ukraine

The article analyses tendencies in changes in power supply volumes in world countries for the last years. We identified tendencies in changes of power supply volumes in the context of different sources of its production. We studied the tendencies of development of renewable energetics in the world and in Ukraine. We based the potential of the development of renewable energetics in the world and in Ukraine. We conducted complex analysis of strategic perspectives of the development of renewable energetics in Ukraine on the basis of PEST-analysis. We also based the main trends of strategic changes in the industry in the framework of the most powerful external factors of influence the development of renewable energetics. We offered the complex of strategic measures within the limits of the most influential environmental factors within PEST-analysis.</p

Innovative Methods in Strategic Planning of Foreign Economic Activity of Enterprises

Changes in the external conditions of business in Ukraine, European integration vector of the country development, and possibilities of import/export operations facilitate foreign trade. Modern methods of strategic management and strategic diagnostics should be developed in line with international requirements and needs of managers in Ukraine and partners abroad. Therefore substantiation of innovation trends for enterprise development strategies on the international arena as a constituent of stable economy is important and necessary. The purpose of this article is to define innovative approaches to planning, development and implementation of strategies and to develop a comprehensive diagnosis of the strategic potential of foreign economic activity. During the research, the following methods: logical abstraction, modeling, PEST-analysis, systems analysis, graphic. The main results of the study are: 1) disclosure of the features of the construction of strategic management in international business; 2) analysis of European and American practices of strategic management of foreign economic activity of enterprises; 3) study of algorithmic scheme of strategic management in the Ukraine; 4) justification of methods of three-level system of strategic analysis using matrix methods of assessment; 5) the classification of the main methods of matrix analysis within groups: macro, meso, macro level; 6) a comprehensive diagnosis of the strategic potential of foreign economic activity of enterprises in Ukraine. The study proved the main areas of innovation and strategic principles of international management and comprehensive methodology for strategic planning matrix based on innovative methods

THEORETICAL AND PRACTICAL ASPECTS OF MONITORING OF REGION’S SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PROCESSES:

The article defines the nature of socio-economic development processes monitoring in a region on the basis of systematization of scientific works on economics. The terms of monitoring introduction into the processes of socio-economic development of a region are defined. The difference between monitoring and standard statistic technology is explained. The fact that socio-economic processes monitoring is primarily directed at collection, examination and preparation of information for making and analyzing of economic decisions at different management levels is proved. The indicators by the direction “renewable energy and energy efficiency”, which are evaluated in the process of monitoring, are outlined. Major tasks of monitoring are defined and principles of its information basis forming are determined. The Analysis of Effectiveness of Various Channels for Selling Agricultural Products

The aim of the article is to conduct an analysis of the agricultural products market in Ivano-Frankivsk region by assessing the main channels for selling products and the price level. By summarizing and analyzing the research of domestic scientists, the importance of conducting a qualitative and detailed market research in the system of intermediary activity is substantiated. Due to the results of the analysis of channels for selling agricultural products, it is revealed that intermediary structures have the largest market share. It is found that there is a tendency to increase the share of sold agricultural products to intermediaries both in Ukraine in general and in Ivano-Frankivsk region in particular. At the same time, direct sales on the market, and, therefore, direct contact with the end user, are decreasing year by year. Prospects for further research in this direction are searching for ways to reduce control over the agricultural market by intermediary structures

A Strategic Set as an Essential Tool for the Development of Agricultural Enterprises

The aim of the article is to define the essence of the term “strategic set” through studying the approaches of various scientists to this concept, generalizing the existing types of strategies and their reducing to the features of the agricultural sector, as well as highlighting the need to form a strategic set for the development of agricultural enterprises. In the process of writing the article the following methods of scientific knowledge were used: the methods of induction and deduction, the method of logical analysis — at substantiating the existing concepts of the strategic set and varieties of strategies; the method of theoretical modeling — to develop the concept of strategic set; the method of systematization — at conducting the comprehensive study of enterprise development strategies and their generalization. The existing approaches to the definition of the essence of the concept “strategic set” are analyzed. The strategic set is studied as an effective and integral tool for ensuring the competitiveness of an agricultural enterprise. Proceeding from the current tendencies in the agrarian market, the interpretation of the term “strategic set” as well as two new types of strategy is proposed. It is established that a correctly developed set of strategies forms the basis of strategic planning and is the key to the success of an agricultural enterprise. The scientific novelty of the study is in the generalization and deepening of the theoretical provisions concerning the strategic set, improvement of the conceptual-categorical apparatus and complementation of the existing types of strategies with new ones according to the current state of the agricultural sector
