In terms of technological performance, the removable partial denture compared with bridges, is associated with light and sparing clinical interventions. The possibility of removing it from the oral cavity allows for regular cleaning and maintaining good hygiene. With partial removable dentures an optimal recovery of speech and chewing function is achieved. As a result of laboratory tests, it was established that the ThermoSens material resembles nylon. It combines the advantages of acrylic and polyamide plastics. Introduced to the dental market in 2013, the material is a thermoplastic resin designed to make partial and total dentures by injection under pressure. The purpose of this article is to present the technological stages of making upper and lower partial prostheses from the ThermoSens material of Vertex based on a case study from the actual practice. The discussed clinical case concerns a male patient, aged 53, who began treatment in the month of April, 2017. The partial toothlessness was first class by Kennedy. After treatment, the patient said he felt well and did not feel discomfort. Pros-theses made of TemholSens can be used by patients with allergies because they do not contain a residual monomer and are bio-susceptible. They have a good aesthetic outlook, compared to all dentures made using classic methods, because of the lack of metal elements and are virtually unbreakable. Patients adapt to them much faster because they feel more comfortable. The ThermoSens dentures can be used just as long as ordinary plaque dentures, but with the difference that they do not absorb and retain no liquids and odors, so they do not change color

Its most frequent use is in temporary, mixed and permanent dentition when an extension of the jaws or moving of a single or a group of teeth in vestibulo-lingual or medial-distal direction is required, while at the same time acting on the teeth, alveolar ridges and underlying bone. The lingual plate is made by mandatory and optional elements. The required elements are plastic plate, vestibular arc, hold hooks and expansion screw, while optional are various types of springs that serve for protrusion, medialization or distalization of a single tooth or a group of teeth. The purpose of this article is to show the link between training in orthodontics for students from the Dental Technician program of the Medical College - Varna and dental practice by presenting five clinical cases (for the period from 2015 to 2017) in which the treatment has started with devices made by the students. To achieve the objective we formed a multidisciplinary team including a dentist, teachers and students. Dentists and patients say that the lingual plates made by the students meet the requirements, they are comfortable to wear and do not interfere with social contacts. The acquired knowledge and practical skills of the students enable the development of lingual plates with which to start a successful orthodontic treatment as well as provide proof that high-quality staff is prepared by experienced and knowledgeable teachers at the University

The difference between acrylic plastics and thermoplastic materials is that the thermo-materials are polymerized under factory conditions and we get them in the form of granulates. For this reason, they do not contain a residual monomer. Partial removable prostheses are not fixed rigidly to the natural teeth of a patient. This means that the patient can remove and put the prosthesis himself, if necessary. This type of prosthesis rests on the mucous membrane and connects with the natural teeth with a variety of support elements. The purpose of this article is to present the technological steps of making an upper partial prosthesis from Biodentaplast material on the Bredent system (thermopress 400) on a real-life case. We present a case study involving a male patient, aged 56, who started in May, 2017. His partial teeth were third class by Kennedy (distal bilateral narrowing defect). Biodentaplast is a thermoplastic material based on polyoxymethylene with a high degree of crystallinity and is universally used in dentistry for the manufacture of non-metallic structures. The high-tech material is characterized by its hardness, elasticity, bio-portability and lightness. Some of the conclusions drawn are that thermoplastic dentures are useful in patients who have contraindications for dental scarring (epilepsy, acute joint diseases, etc.). A survey conducted among patients shows that 100% of respondents prefer flexible dentures to conventional PMMA plastics. Biological tolerance is high due to the lack of residual monomer and metal
