    In this article, some of the most important research issues and developments in economic competitiveness as the process and multidimensional concept have been studied. The ā€˜competitive enterpriseā€™ has been defined and it was shown that the profit is of secondary importance compared with the competitive ability. There were researched certain components of the enterpriseā€™s competitiveness: competitiveness of a market supply; competitiveness of the potential (resources) of an enterprise; management competitiveness; competitiveness of a managerial idea. The author argues that the effectiveness of the entrepreneurial activity, as a rule, remains the factor with the highest contribution to ensuring, maintaining and increasing of the entrepreneurial competitiveness

    The topicality of this article is determined by the significant impact of territorial (regional) factor on the competitiveness of economic units. The main purpose of the article is to determine the certain aspects of mechanisms of this impact. The following basic research methods were used: systemic analysis, monographic, qualitative and quantitative analysis, synthesis, generalizations, historical and logical, deductive and inductive, etc. The main scientific results of the research obtained in the article are the following: definition and role of territorial competitive advantages; highlighting of some regional environmental factors, which influence competitiveness and stability of an enterprise on several quality levels; detection of peculiarities of regional competitiveness policy; generalization of the methods of complex evaluation of competitive advantages; detection of success factors in regions with above average economic performance; characterization of policies of territorial development support (Danish, Italian and German models)

    Novelty of this research paper is determined by the imperative economic and social need to create the necessary legal and favorable framework for initiation and developing family business as a form of business success that would be accessible to socially vulnerable families. The aim of the research paper is to investigate the main legal rules of the legal framework of family business in Romania and to familiarize it with similar families from the Republic of Moldova; this would take into account acceptable rules for the Republic of Moldova and will help to create the legal basis for the establishment of this relatively new form of family entrepreneurship in this country.     Abstract: Under the conditions of the business environment currently existing in the Republic of Moldova, which, in certain aspects, requires essential improvements, the creation of conditions and opportunities for all persons, who wish to start a business, for their successful work activities and entrepreneurship, remains an imperious task. The need for special support from the state in order to initiate and develop a successful business is most felt by the socially vulnerable categories of population. Therefore, the main purpose of this article is to analyze relevant national policy documents for supporting women and young people, part of the socially vulnerable category, as entrepreneurs. The information base of the investigation constituted, mainly, the statistical data of the NBS and the consulted bibliographic sources. The main used research methods were: studying the written and electronic sources on the subject; monograph; quantitative and qualitative methods; analysis and synthesis; statistics; table; dynamic strings. The most relevant results are the following: a) characteristic of the national state policy of supporting women and young people as entrepreneurs or self-employed; b) correct defining of the content and correlation of the main notions established by the NBS, which are used in the research process; c) determining the evolution of the number, structure (2012 and 2016) and dynamics (2016/2012) of young entrepreneurs according to their professional status, levels of education and gender.Note: UDC: 334.7.012.6
