Novel polymeric inhibitor fo corrosion of 575 a um-nium in 2M NaOH solutions
Purpose -The purpose of this paper is to show how to develop inhibition 575 aluminium in 2M NaOH solution.
Design/methodology/approach -The approach is used to measure gravimetric and polarization measurements.
Findings -The results of the paper clearly reveal that the 0.2 M ZnO with 700 ppm polyaniline in N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone solution is found to offer
inhibition up to 71.2 per cent.
Originality/value -The paper deals with the development of newer inhibitor based on polyaniline. Gravimetric and galvanostatic methods were
employed to evaluate inhibition efficiency
Predictive modeling of deposition rate in electro-deposition of copperâtin using regression and artificial neural network
The aim of this paper is to develop a model using artificial neural network for the electro-deposition of
copperâtin alloy (bronze) based on the experimentally obtained data. Copperâtin alloy was electrodeposited
from a cyanide bath. The coating composition was determined using X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy.
The deposition rate was calculated from the mass, composition and area of the deposit and its
approximate density. The results were used to create a model for the plating characteristics using
ANN. The ANN model was compared with the regression model for analysis
Predictive Modeling of Copper in Electro-deposition of Bronze Using Regression and Neural Networks
The aim of this research is to obtain electrodeposits of copper-tin over mild steel substrate. The plating parameters were studied and a model is developed using Artificial Neural Networks (ANN). The electrodeposition of copper-tin was carried out from an alkaline cyanide bath. Copper content of coatings in alloy deposition was determined by using X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy. The results were used to create a model for the plating characteristics and also for studies using ANN. The ANN model is compared with the conventional mathematical regression model for analysis
