General concepts of policy study: Foundations of policy study in Mongolia

The main subject of the Policy study is state policy and its execution method. As there are many definitions and interpretations regarding state policies, respective to Thomas Dye, William Jenkins, and James Anderson’s interpretations can be summarized as “State policy shall be operative agenda of the government and its agents to partially or wholly address the necessities of the society”. Initially, a Policy study was established in Mongolia with the aim to offer recommendations and suggestions on state policies and government operations, but these days the ones with substantial capability in policy development and its implementation are the ones who are of using it to the fullest extension. Therefore, it is imperative to focus on the establishment or development of a policy study institution that has a reliable and accurate source of information and is capable of anticipating changes in society. Quantitative Analysis of the Relationship Between Mining and Livestock Sectors in Mongolia

Discoveries and exploitation of mineral resources can increase economic growth and generate employment in developing countries. However, while the benefits of non-renewable resource extraction accrue mostly to owners of capital, the negative externalities on the environment can be disproportionately borne by people living in rural areas, such as nomadic pastoralists in Mongolia. This research uses panel data by soums (counties) in Mongolia to analyse the relationship between mining and livestock sectors. The study finds evidence that increase in mining is associated with higher mortality of livestock, indicating negative environmental externalities. More mining is also associated with more sales, or consumption of livestock, pointing to the positive effect of improved markets for herders

A preliminary Result of the Comparative Research of the Curricula for the Preparation of Long-song Singers of the National Institute of Khukh Khot City and the University of Arts and Culture

Researchers have emphasized that it is necessary to profound the study of the program for training professional singers, as a university education and to carry out the program in a traditional way as well as to direct towards training professional teachers. The purpose of the research is to determine the evidence for reforming the curriculum on the basis of the study of the theory and methodology of training professional singers. The theory books, research materials and curriculum for the preparation of long-song singers of the school of the music art of the MSUAC and the professional organizations which work out the curriculum and training programs of the branch school of the song art of the National Institute of Khukh Khot city of the Inner Mongolia were used.
