The communist movement in Russia today
Die heutige russische kommunistische Bewegung besteht aus der großen Kommunistischen Partei der Russischen Föderation (KPRF), die 10% der Sitze in der Staatsduma hält und nach eigenen Angaben über 500 000 Mitglieder zählt, sowie einer Handvoll kleinerer außerparlamentarischer kommunistischer Parteien, die die KPRF wegen ihrer Betonung der Legalität und ihres russischen Nationalismus scharf kritisieren. Sowohl die Angriffe aus dieser Ecke als auch die wachsende Unzufriedenheit der russischen Bevölkerung mit der Stagflation und dem Krieg in Tschetschenien scheinen zur kürzlichen Linkswendung der KPRF beigetragen haben.
