On the Deterministic Dynamics of Stimulated Scattering Phenomenon
Full text linkLu and Harrison have recently shown [1] in a more complete treatment of stimulated scattering that the interplay of nonlinear refraction with the gain of stimulated scattering lead to rich dynamical instabilities and chaos in the scattered and pump fields; omissions of dispersive effects as in conventional treatments resulting in stable emission only. Such behaviour is shown to be prevalent over broad experimentally accessible operating conditions, in some instances from the onset of stimulated scattering.</jats:p
