Role of Model on the Stability of Cylindrical Stellar Model
The aim of this paper is to investigate the stable/unstable regimes of the
non-static anisotropic filamentary stellar models in the framework of
gravity. We construct the field equations and
conservation laws in the perspective of this gravity. The perturbation scheme
is applied to analyze the behavior of a particular
cosmological model on the evolution of
cylindrical system. The role of adiabatic index is also checked in the
formulations of instability regions. We have explored the instability
constraints at Newtonian and post-Newtonian limits. Our results reinforce the
significance of adiabatic index and dark source terms in the stability analysis
of celestial objects in modified gravity.Comment: 29 pages, no figure, version accepted for publication in European

The Role of Age, Gender and Socio-Economic Status in Self-esteem and Life Satisfaction of Nursing Students
Introduction:Self-esteem and Life satisfaction assume a more prominent role in human development. There are a few components like Age, Gender and Socio-Economic status which influence self-esteem and life satisfaction. Socio-economic status of a nation may be a factor in people’s rating of their life satisfaction. Self-esteem has positive relation with students’ academic learning Methods: A descriptive correlational study was conducted at Lahore School of Nursing, The University of Lahore. Data was gathered by nursing students of BSN and Post RN. Questionnaire which was used in this study was Self-esteem inventory and Life Satisfaction scale. Reliability of the scale test by Chronbach alpha . Data was analysed by SPSS and using Pearson correlation test to see the relationship between self-esteem and life satisfaction and socioeconomic status of the nursing students. Results: Results shows a positive correlation between self-esteem and life satisfaction. Pearson correlation level was 1.000 and p value was .000 on 0.05 confidence level of interval which shows negative correlation results. Results also revealed a positive correlation of socio-economic status with self-esteem and life satisfaction. Conclusions: it is concluded that the relationship of socioeconomic status life satisfaction and self-esteem of the students affects their learning. High level of socioeconomic status can boost the self-esteem and life satisfaction of the students Keywords: Self-esteem, Life satisfaction, socioeconomic status, Nursing students DOI: 10.7176/JHMN/62-19 Publication date:May 31st 2019
Economic corridors in Asia : paradigm of integration?
460 páginasGlobal geopolitics has shifted dramatically over the last thirty years. After the vanishing expectations of a unipolar international system led by the United States, China has gained an increasingly dominant role in areas as innovative as quantum computing, robotics and artificial intelligence. In the ‘non-digital’ dimension, the eastern superpower has made gigantic investments in its Belt and Road Initiative, which include the development of a massive network of highways, industrial centers, harbors, pipelines and bridges, among many other works of infrastructure. These investments allow for the connection of more than 60 countries
worldwide, guaranteeing China’s energetic security, easier conditions for trading goods and services and, perhaps more importantly, a significant influence in the political and economic events of the world
An Analysis of UN Peacekeeping as Pakistan’s Soft Power Asset
The power of attraction and admiration is soft power. Generally, it is perceived that hard power cannot generate soft power, but the protective role of military in humanitarian crises and conflicts negates this prevailing misperception by specifying their contexts and effective utilizations; hard power assets can be transformed into soft power resources. This paper argues that the United Nations (UN) peacekeeping missions are the source of soft power and Pakistan, being an active participant in this field, can utilize this asset for shaping the preferences of others. Overall, it did earn admiration from international community and managed to build its soft image abroad through peacekeeping missions. Pakistani blue helmets not only earned the admiration and appreciation of the people of the conflict-zones and earned praises, but from international community also. However, to what extent has the country utilized this asset of soft power to exercise its influence in the global arena remains debatable. Although Pakistan’s UN Peacekeeping missions have been an instrument of building the country’s soft image, it is publicized in a far less productive manner. Peacekeeping can be used as a means to enhance the country’s presence and the level of participation in both international and regional organizations. By effective application of soft power strategy in tandem with public diplomacy, Pakistan’s UN peacekeeping can provide the country with the platform where its narratives can be projected effectively and its influence can be exercised adroitly
PEACE IN THE CONTEMPORARY WORLD AND ITS IMPACT ON DIVERSE CULTURES: AN ISLAMIC OVERVIEW
Peace is one of the most desired and basic elements for humanity on the face of earth. Without this neither evolution nor the social life can function properly. Islam conveys the message of love, peace and harmony and at the same time admonishes pandemonium, restlessness and chaos in society. Humanity on the globe generally and Muslims specifically are passing through very difficult times. Humanity, now a days is passing through various tensions and threats where bedlam is one of them either on individual or collective level or on national and international level. In this difficult time, it necessitates to return and revise the teachings of Holy Prophet (S.A.W) as his (S.A.W) teachings are a blessing, sanctified element and gift from Allah which should be studied, understood and practiced so that we may contribute as an effective part of society. Literal meanings of Islam, Muslim and Momin indicate towards the message of love, peace and harmony. Allah has many names and one among them is “Salam” “Peace”. Being Muslims it is our duty to present the peaceful face of Islam as our prophet (S.A.W) fought for the establishment of peace and discouragement of violence in society. According to various books on the life of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W) such as Rahmat Aalam, Nabi Rehmat, Hadi Azam, Muhammad-e-Arbi one of the major achievements of Holy Prophet (S.A.W) is to establish a pious and complete society based on oneness of Allah and divine laws. The divine law which was given by Allah and implemented by Holy Prophet (S.A.W) was based on love, peace and harmony. Rest of the Prophets (A.S) was sent for the accomplishment of the same mission. They all instituted the serenity in societies of their time and ceased off devastations and pandemonium in humanity. It is observed that world is in search of lost peace which has become a dream of present day’s societies, families, and countries. Even peace has vanished from streets and towns at international and national politics, economy, religiosity, individual and collective levels. All this mess is directing towards restlessness, lack of patience, lack of justice and revenge. Humanity and world can come out of this chaotic situation only by acting upon God Almighty’s divine teachings and practices of Holy Prophet (S.A.W). The present research paper is a drop of the rain that overviews and understands prophetic teachings for chaos and establishment of peace. Article visualizations
IMPACT OF CELL PHONE USAGE ON ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE, SOCIAL LIFE AND PHYSICAL HEALTH OF STUDENTS: A CASE STUDY OF PUNJAB
The present was “The Impact of Cell Phone Usage on Academic Performance, Social Life and Physical Health of Students: A Case Study of Punjab” The present was “The Impact of Cell Phone Usage on Academic Performance, Social Life and Physical Health of Students: A Case Study of Punjab” Mobile phones are the most necessary medium of communication for adolescents. It has virtually affected the society’s accessibility, security, safety and coordination of business and social activities and has hence become a part of culture of the whole world. Traditional agents of socialization are families and universities. With the expansion of educational system as a result of the need for highly skilled workers lead to the school system taking increasing larger responsibilities in socialization. Surprisingly, research on the influence of mobile phone on our schools today has not been given much attention. There is the conflicting priority of young people, parents and teachers in relation to the mobile phone device, with teachers more concerned about issues such as discipline in the classroom and parents worried about means of contacting their children at every point in time. Students’ cell phone activities are reported as playing games, using social media, communication, watching videos and movies and the most important was academic purpose activities on regular basis. The pattern length of 259 students was selected from the population of university students of Punjab in above mentioned special universities. The sample size changed into composed of 179 male university students and 80 girl university students. University students need to be re-orientated on the need to set their priorities right. This drive towards reorientation must be championed by the university management in conjunction with the parents/guardians of the students. While the usage of internet enabled phones by students cannot be outlawed, they need to be continuously informed on the positive and negative effects of their usage and of the problems deriving from the over-dependency and unregulated use of their mobile phones
Has the landscape of immunotherapy for prostate cancer changed? A systematic review and post hoc analysis
Prostate cancer (PCa) is the second leading cause of cancer-causing death in the United States. As the most common malignancy in men, it is pertinent to explore whether novel immunotherapies may improve the quality of life and overall survival (OS) of patient populations. This systematic review and post hoc analysis curates a patient-by-patient pool of evidence adhering to PRISMA Statement 2020 guidelines. In total, 24 patients were analyzed for treatment history and associated variables including prostate-specific antigen (PSA) levels at diagnosis and post-treatment, Gleason score, secondary tumor locations, success/failure of therapy, and post-immunotherapy outcomes including OS. In total, 10 types of immunotherapies were identified with Pembrolizumab (among 8 patients) followed by IMM-101 (among 6 patients) being the most commonly administered. The mean OS for all patients was 27.8 months (24 patients) with the relatively highest mean OS reported with IMM-101 (56 months) followed by tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (30 months). This research article provides critical insights into the evolving landscape of immunotherapies being tested for PCa and addresses gaps in oncological research to advance the understanding of PC
