Unconventional phase transitions in strongly anisotropic 2D (pseudo)spin systems

    No full text
We have applied a generalized mean-field approach and quantum Monte-Carlo technique for the model 2D S = 1 (pseudo)spin system to find the ground state phase with its evolution under application of the (pseudo)magnetic field. The comparison of the two methods allows us to clearly demonstrate the role of quantum effects. Special attention is given to the role played by an effective single-ion anisotropy ("on-site correlation")

Sorption-probiotic supplement in the diet of calves and its effect on the functional maturity of their rumen, morpho-biochemical blood status and productivity

This research considers the use of the sorption-probiotic supplement Biopinnular in the amount of 0.5 and 1.0 % of the dry matter in the diets of calves of the dairy period. The results allows us to correct the microbiocenosis in the in the digestive tract by suppressing the development of pathogenic microflora and increased reproduction of Lacto- and Bifido bacteria. The studied supplement also contributes to deeper fermentation of fodder mass during digestion in the rumen, which is manifested in an increase in active acidity (pH), cellulolytic activity of bacteria, VFA content as the main product of carbohydrate fermentation, as well as enhanced ammonia-binding function of microflora, which led to better energy and protein availability of their body. This is confirmed by indicators of the morphological and biochemical status of the blood of calves, manifested in a real increase in their red blood cells, hemoglobin, protein and protein fractions. All this was confirmed by the intensity of their live weight gain, accompanied by large average daily (by 8.83 and 23.70 %, respectively) and relative (by 1.63 and 3.86 %) weight gains and smaller (by 0.44 and 0.64) EFU costs per unit of live weight gain. A more pronounced biological effect is observed when using a feed supplement at a dose of 1.0 % of the dry matter of the diet

In the study, in the conditions of the dairy complex of the agricultural Firm Tetyushskoe in the Ulyanovsk region, five groups of cows (26 heads per group) were fed according to detailed standards. Cows of groups II, III, IV and V were fed a new sorption-probiotic Supplement (SPD) Biopinnular at a dose of 0.25; 0.50; 0.75 and 1.00 % of dry matter. SPD was made from the natural mineral diatomite (sorbent) and probiotic microbiota (Bacillus subtilius). Such a formulation reduces impact on the body of endo- and exotoxins, in the digestive tract inhibits the development of pathogenic and stimulates the proliferation of lactic acid bacteria and bifidobacteria, enhances the digestibility and assimilation of nutrients, for exceeds efficiency and productivity of cows, improve the sustainability of milk and its products. On 100 EKE fed, 7.88, 12.54, 3.73 and 3.48 % more milk was obtained from cows of the experimental groups than from control cows (63.86 kg). The highest efficiency of the diet was observed in group III. The SPD corrects the environmental friendliness of milk and its processing products. The concentration of Pb and Cd in them did not exceed the MPC and was dependent on the dose of the fed Supplement. The least effective dose for reducing ecotoxicants in products was 0.25 %. Therefore, to increase the efficiency of the diet and reduce ecotoxicants content in dairy products, it is advisable to use SPD in diets at a dose of 0.50 % of dry matter
