The product Vinassa Rompak, resulted in the yeast obtaining technology process, can be a good fertilizer for agricultural crops and a factor for maintaining the balance between the microorganisms populations from the soil. The experiment regarding the infl uence of fertilization by using the Vinassa Rompak product was made on two permanent growing; a permanent pasturelands and fodder beet. The results presents the infl uence of the fertilization process emphasize a variation of the total number of microorganisms, of the report between the main groups (bacteria and fungi), and of the micromycetes spectrum determined in each variant of experiment

Research on the monitoring of the pathogen Coccomyces hiemalis sin. Blumeria jaapi took place on the territory of the Research Station for Fruit Growing Iasi, within the research polygon. The observations were made on 5 cultivars approved at RSFG Iasi and belong to the category of early ripening cultivars. 'Cetățuia', 'Cătălina', 'Andreias', 'Cociuvas' and 'Mihailis' cultivars were studied, their monitoring began in May, analysing 3 trees of each cultivar, 300 leaves from each tree in three repetitions, observing the frequency and intensity of the pathogen's attack. During the growing season of 2022, 4 treatments with fungicides, insecticides and foliar fertilizers were used for phytosanitary maintenance. Following the observations made, the analysed cultivars recorded a minimum attack degree of 0.825% on the 'Cetățuia' cultivar and the highest of 1.63% for the ‘Mihailis’ cultivar. The low degree of attack was due to the earliness of the cultivars studied

The interest in management fire blight prevention and control increased considerably in last years due to pathogen spread almost throughout the country. The objective of this paper focuses on testing of some plant extracts such as Salvia officinalis, Thymus serpyllum, Pelargonium odoratissimum, Hedera helix, Ocimum basilicum, Levisticum officinale, Tagetes patula, Galium verum and different pesticides against an Erwinia amylovora strain isolated from quince dameged samples. In this study, the biological material was represented by quince shoots, harvested from pomological collection of "Vasile Adamachi" farm, which belongs to University of Agricultural Science and Veterinary Medicine Iaşi. The research were performed in the Phytopathology laboratory. Following the experiment performed note that among the eight plant extracts a good antibacterial activity has Pelargonium odoratissimum, Ocimum basilicum and Salvia officinalis and of the three pesticides, Alcupral 50 PU. Contrary to expectations worst results were obtained after testing Aliette 80 WG and Hedera helix products. The results were estimated statisticaly, by performing ANOVA test

In less than six months after infection, Erwinia amylovora may completely destroy a pome tree. This paper aims to increase awareness of the potential for developing plant protection strategies based on natural products. Since the damage caused by this bacterium are unrecoverable, we tested in vitro the effectiveness of a several plant extracts such as Salvia officinalis, Thymus serpyllum, Pelargonium odoratissimum, Hedera helix, Ocimum basilicum, Levisticum officinale, Tagetes patula, Galium verum and some pesticide products, on a strain of Erwinia amylovora isolated from the pomological collection of "Vasile Adamachi" farm, the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine, Iaşi. The strain was isolated from damaged pear shoots, after performing patogenicity test on immature pear fruits. Following the experiment conducted, copper oxychloride (Alcupral 50 PU) and Pelargonium odoratissimum showed a very good antibacterial activity against EA - A.P. strain

Some wheat varieties behavior regarding the attack of main pathogens under climatic conditions from central area of Moldavia, Romania

Due to the attack of the main pathogens agents in the wheat crop the wheat production is not exploited at the full potential. Powdery mildew, leaf spot and rust brown leaves are considered to be the most widespread and damaging diseases of wheat. In our country, the attack of these pathogens is present every year, with different intensities and it can cause production damages ranging from 3-4% to 20%. Due to this fact, the main attention of the farmers is to cultivate resistant wheat varieties to Blumeria graminis (DC.) Speer., Septoria tritici Rob. Desm. and Puccinia recondita Rob. et Desm. The main objective of this study was to evaluate the phytosanitary condition of 24 wheat varieties cultivated in 2011-2012 at the Ezăreni didactic Farm from University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Iaşi, Romania, localized in the central area of Moldavia. This study contains data regarding the spread and evolution of the main pathogens that were observed at the 24 wheat varieties studied. These varieties showed different reactions to different pathogens observed in the same environmental conditions thus some of them were resistant to Blumeria graminis (DC.) Speer. and Septoria tritici Rob. ex. Desm. attack, and some recorded a disease incidence of 18.75% at the Puccinia recondita Rob. et Desm attack

Un model matematic al creşterii bacteriilor utilizând comunităţile bacteriene din sol

A bacterial growth model is presented starting from the Malthusian model of exponential growth. Considering the growth rate being a linear function, we can express it using the bacterial tolerance grade over different conditions. Resolving the obtained differential equation, we plot the growth of the bacterial population for the studied initial conditions. The numerical increase of soil bacterial population cultivated on common microbiological growth media (Potato dextrose agar –abbreviated PDA) is studied
