    We report an observation of the B±J/ψηK±B^{\pm} \to J/\psi \eta K^{\pm} and B0J/ψηKS0B^0 \to J/\psi \eta K^0_S decays using 772×106\times 10^{6} BBˉB\bar{B} pairs collected at the Υ(4S)\Upsilon(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+ee^+e^- collider. We obtain the branching fractions B(B±J/ψηK±)=(1.27±0.11(stat.)±0.11(syst.))×104{\cal B}(B^{\pm}\rightarrow J/\psi\eta K^{\pm})=(1.27\pm 0.11{\rm (stat.)\pm 0.11{\rm (syst.)})}\times10^{-4} and B(B0J/ψηKS0)=(5.22±0.78(stat.)±0.49(syst.))×105{\cal B}(B^0\to J/\psi \eta K^0_S)=(5.22 \pm 0.78 {\rm(stat.)} \pm 0.49{\rm(syst.)})\times10^{-5}. We search for a new narrow charmonium(-like) state XX in the J/ψηJ/\psi \eta mass spectrum and find no significant excess. We set upper limits on the product of branching fractions, B(B±XK±)B(XJ/ψη){\cal B}(B^\pm \to XK^\pm){\cal B}(X \to J/\psi \eta), at 3872 MeV/c2/c^2 where a CC-odd partner of X(3872) may exist, at ψ(4040)\psi(4040) and ψ(4160)\psi(4160) assuming their known mass and width, and over a range from 3.8 to 4.8 GeV/c2/c^2. % at a 5 MeV/c2/c^2 step. The obtained upper limits at 90% confidence level for XCodd(3872)X^{C{\rm -odd}}(3872), ψ(4040)\psi(4040) and ψ(4160)\psi(4160) are 3.8×106\times 10^{-6}, 15.5×106\times 10^{-6} and 8.1×106\times 10^{-6}, respectively

Inclusive and exclusive measurements of BB decays to χc1\chi_{c1} and χc2\chi_{c2} at Belle

    We report inclusive and exclusive measurements for χc1\chi_{c1} and χc2\chi_{c2} production in BB decays. We measure B(Bχc1X)\mathcal{B}(B \to \chi_{c1} X)= (3.03 \pm 0.05(\mbox{stat}) \pm 0.24(\mbox{syst})) \times 10^{-3} and B(Bχc2X)\mathcal{B}(B \to \chi_{c2} X)= (0.70 \pm 0.06(\mbox{stat}) \pm 0.10(\mbox{syst})) \times 10^{-3}. For the first time, χc2\chi_{c2} production in exclusive BB decays in the modes B0χc2πK+B^0 \to \chi_{c2}\pi^- K^+ and B+χc2π+πK+B^+ \to \chi_{c2} \pi^+ \pi^- K^+ has been observed, along with first evidence for the B+χc2π+KS0B^+ \to \chi_{c2} \pi^+ K_S^0 decay mode. For χc1\chi_{c1} production, we report the first observation in the B+χc1π+πK+B^+ \to \chi_{c1} \pi^+ \pi^- K^+, B0χc1π+πKS0B^0 \to \chi_{c1} \pi^+ \pi^- K_S^0 and B0χc1π0πK+B^0 \to \chi_{c1} \pi^0 \pi^- K^+ decay modes. Using these decay modes, we observe a difference in the production mechanism of χc2\chi_{c2} in comparison to χc1\chi_{c1} in BB decays. In addition, we report searches for X(3872)X(3872) and χc1(2P)\chi_{c1}(2P) in the B+(χc1π+π)K+B^+ \to (\chi_{c1} \pi^+ \pi^-) K^+ decay mode. The reported results use 772×106772 \times 10^{6} BBB\overline{B} events collected at the Υ(4S)\Upsilon(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+ee^+e^- collider
