    Random walks in Euclidean space

Consider a sequence of independent random isometries of Euclidean space with a previously fixed probability law. Apply these isometries successively to the origin and consider the sequence of random points that we obtain this way. We prove a local limit theorem under a suitable moment condition and a necessary non-degeneracy condition. Under stronger hypothesis, we prove a limit theorem on a wide range of scales: between e^(-cl^(1/4)) and l^(1/2), where l is the number of steps.Comment: 62 pages, 1 figure, revision based on referee's report, proofs and results unchange

Visible structures highlighting model analysis aimed at object image detectionproblem

    Get PDF
The research considers an approach to solving the problem of reducing the data processed in mobile platformsoriented video-analytic systems.Different models of human visual attentionhas been analyzed and also classified according to the image segmentation. The results obtained are presented in the form of the method used for isolating the borders of the most significant object in the image. They are based on the optimization the length and curvature values of the object borders. This approach allows to filter significant structures in the image and process them with the help of image segmentation techniques. The method was evaluated according to usage the accuracy criterion along with other methods in delineation of boundaries: threshold value, morphological processing and watershed. Software and hardware system for registering dump trucks has been improved. It gives the possibility to automatize the process of registration dump trucks, training them during the construction of roads

Evolutionary methods in modelling behaviour of complex system

    Get PDF
In this paper, a recursive-regression approach is formulated in the formation of a functioning model of a complex system. The complex system consist of the object of study represented by a set of related signs. The proposed sub-course combines the method of group accounting of arguments with standard regression analysis adapted to fast dynamic processes. As an example, recursive-regression modelling of the functioning of an industrial enterprise was performed

Status of creation of hardware-software complex of automatic control of the insulin delivery

    Get PDF
The article discusses issues related to the prospects for the implementation of the idea of creating a hardware-software complex for automated regulation of insulin delivery. Today, there are drugs that allow people to live relatively comfortably even with the most severe types of diabetes. The main difficulty of insulin therapy is that it is necessary to constantly (at any time, day or night) to carry out the procedure of control and regulation of the introduction of the drug into the patient's body. Unfortunately, not all patients are able to perform it properly. The ideal solution could be a system that performs all these actions automatically, without the participation of the patient. Therefore, the implementation of the idea of creating a hardware and software system for automatic regulation of insulin delivery using the program-adaptive control scheme is relevant. The article forms the general requirements for an approach capable of providing safe medical care for people with type 1 diabetes. The requirements to which the hardware-software complexes of automatic regulation of insulin delivery must correspond are formulated, their block diagram is presented

Model of analysis of sustainable management of information security of a distributed information system

    Get PDF
The article presents a model of stability analysis of a distributed information system in the sense of sustainable provision of its information security with some means of protection. It is assumed that the information system in question is operating in real time. On the basis of the proposed model, the area of functional security of a distributed information system under the influence of information attacks of the enemy is constructed, while this task is solved from the condition of specified allowed intervals: the probability of ensuring the information security of the system under consideration, as well as the criterion of deterioration of the main indicator of its effectiveness from enemy interference in process of its functioning. In the form of a strict sequence of actions, an algorithm is formulated to implement the proposed model in practice, provided that the information security of a distributed information system is managed reliably

The article provides a brief description of the methods and tools used to ensure the protection of information in some organization, that is, hiding confidential data. A self-regulating scheme of the operation of the information protection system and a stochastic method providing an increase in the level of information security of the system under operating conditions that provide for the random nature of the environmental impact on the system under consideration are proposed

Simulation and optimization of the cargo terminal in the Anylogic environment

    Get PDF
The paper considers the formal theoretical bases of the analytical, simulation and optimization modelling of multi-channel queuing systems with waiting (with unlimited and limited queue). The research is based on the use as an analytical platform of the simulation environment AnyLogic, which allows to carry out simulation and optimization experiments, as well as perform parametric analysis of solutions and studies on sensitivity. Practical approbation of models is based on solving and researching a wide range of tasks on modelling queuing systems with expectation from different subject areas. The basis of the methodology used for modelling and optimization is the provision of using as an optimization criterion (objective function) the total reduced costs in both service channels and queue losses. The research is aimed at reviewing and analysing queuing systems with various event flows in the AnyLogic simulation environment

The optimal aircraft gas turbine engine control in low gas mode in the conditions of external additive noise

    Get PDF
Currently, mathematical and computer modeling are the basis for the design of complex technical systems, which include aircraft structures, of course. Direct tasks for calculating the strength, flight, dynamic and other aircraft structures characteristics are widely described in the literature, methods for their solution are known. In aircraft engineering the inverse problem solution is primarily connected with strength characteristic calculation of aircraft structures and heat transfer problems. The inverse problems also include aircraft engines modes controlling tasks. Due to the fuel combustion disturbance, the engine is exposed to random disturbances in the form of Gaussian white noises in real live operation. At the bench test stage, not all system feedbacks can be accurately known. Thus, direct problems describing the engine operation are represented as stochastic differential equations systems with unknown parameters and additive white noises in the right-hand side. For such mathematical models, the inverse problem solution with respect to control parameters is made difficult by the need to estimate unknown parameters that can be realized in real conditions by measuring the phase characteristics of the system

    High-frequency dynamics of wave localisation

We study the effect of localisation on the propagation of a pulse through a multi-mode disordered waveguide. The correlator of the transmitted wave amplitude u at two frequencies differing by delta_omega has for large delta_omega the stretched exponential tail ~exp(-sqrt{tau_D delta_omega/2}). The time constant tau_D=L^2/D is given by the diffusion coefficient D, even if the length L of the waveguide is much greater than the localisation length xi. Localisation has the effect of multiplying the correlator by a frequency-independent factor exp(-L/2xi), which disappears upon breaking time-reversal symmetry.Comment: 3 pages, 1 figur

A parallel genetic algorithm of feature selection for analysis of complex system

    Get PDF
The paper shows an approach of important features selection characterizing the evolution of the complex system. A parallel genetic algorithm is proposed to solve this problem. As a result of the proposed approach, the search for the best number of parallel evolutionary paths for the feature selection is carried out. The effectiveness of the proposed approach is demonstrated on the basis of the data analysis of production enterprise functioning. This paper also shows comparison results of parallel genetic algorithm with other algorithms of feature selection by standard deviation, Fisher criterion and multiple determination coefficient
