    Key Factors Influencing Customer Satisfaction and Intention to Reuse Food Ordering Apps

    This empirical study aims to identify and evaluate the crucial factors that influence customer satisfaction and their intention to reuse a food ordering app (FOA) in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), Vietnam. A data sample of 413 observations from customers who used the FOA was used to test hypotheses using a quantitative technique and a structural linear model. The results indicated that among the four key factors, performance expectancy, price value, and online reviews had direct and indirect effects on customers’ continued intention to use the FOA. By contrast, hedonic motivation only had an indirect effect. Satisfaction level was the mediating factor that affected customers’ continuance intention. This study provided insights into the online service and how the key factors affected customers’ satisfaction level towards the intention to reuse the FOA. When the management of the online providing service improves the key factors – performance expectancy, hedonic motivation, price value, and online reviews – they will improve the level of satisfaction towards the intention to reuse the FOA of customers in HCMC. The management of food companies should refer to this research model for restructuring and improving their business to satisfy the needs and wants of their target customers in the competitive market

    We consider the Grothendieck polynomials appearing in the K-theory of Grassmannians, which are analogs of Schur polynomials. This paper aims to establish a version of the Murnaghan-Nakayama rule for Grothendieck polynomials of the Grassmannian type. This rule allows us to express the product of a Grothendieck polynomial with a power sum symmetric polynomial into a linear combination of other Grothendieck polynomials.Comment: 10 pages, 7 figure

    Mechanism of Inverse Magnetoresistance in High-TaT_{a} Annealed MnNi/Co/Ag(Cu)/Py Spin Valves

    The magnetic transport properties -- magnetoresistive (MR) effects of MnNi/Co/Ag(Cu)/\break Py pinned spin valve structures (SVs) prepared by rf sputtering method and annealed at Ta=100T_{a} = 100°C - 500°C for 30 minutes in high vacuum (∼10−5\sim 10^{ - 5} torr) are investigated. The received results show a change in the observed MR behaviors from a normal giant magnetoresistance effect to an inverse magnetoresistance effect after annealing at high temperatures, 300°C and 400°C, for these SVs. The origin and mechanism of the IMR behavior are analyzed and discussed. These results will suggest an ability to manufacture SV devices used the IMR effect for enhancing the application capacities for SV-sensor systems

    Modulation and application of chitosal to adsorb lead (Pb2+) in waterwaste

    One of methods to eliminate metals from water is the use of adsorption. Chitosal is a material with a biological origin and was chosen for this study. The material was extracted from shrimp shells. The final product of the extraction progress was chitosal gel with a diameter of 3.5 mm, 97% of purity and good solubility in 1% CH3COOH solution. Three adsorption columns were built with PVC plastic. Two experiments at lead concentration 6.98 mg/l and 15.7 mg/l were carried out with the flow from the top down, at different water retention times of 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes, 60 minutes, 90 minutes, and 120 minutes. The results showed that at lead concentrations of 6.98 mg/l we did not find the optimum water retention time. However, in the second experiment with lead concentration of 15.7 mg/l we determined the optimal water retention time was 60 minutes for column h1 and the lead adsorption efficiency achieved was 30.44%; column h2, h3 were the same time (90 minutes) and the lead adsorption efficiency reached 44.71%; and 52.87% respectively

    Mobilising community-based research on zoonotic infections: A case study of longitudinal cohorts in Vietnam

    We initiated the Vietnam Initiative on Zoonotic Infections (VIZIONS) research program to better understand the epidemiology of disease transmission at the human–animal interface in Vietnamese rural communities and to integrate One Health approaches to disease surveillance. We established a longitudinal community cohort study of individuals with occupational exposure to animals, which involves concurrent targeted sampling from domestic livestock species and follow-up monitoring of human clinical cases. The project was implemented by government agencies at the provincial and district levels of the public health and animal health sectors in Vietnam. Engaging with rural communities builds response capacity at the grassroots level, and has improved dialogue between local stakeholders responsible for monitoring human and animal health. Here we describe the process of initiating participatory research and cohort field implementation over the first year in two study sites in Vietnam.Keywords: Vietnam, participatory research, zoonoses, field epidemiolog
